What is Jezebel Spirit and How it Operates?
Without question, the nastiest, evil, most disgusting, cunning, and seductive spirit in Satan’s hierarchy has to be what many call the Jezebel spirit.
This evil spirit has been responsible for not only tearing down churches, pastors, and different Christian ministries, but it has also been responsible for breaking up many marriages, friendships, companies, along with getting many people to commit cold-blooded murders and suicides.
For those of you who have been hit and slimed by this evil spirit, or have encountered it in some way, you will know exactly what I am going to talk about in this article. It is without question, one of the most evil and vile things I have ever come across in my life. Like Satan, this type of spirit is simply pure evil.
Over the last 20 years or so, I have encountered this spirit myself at least 5 different times, with it being attached to a specific person each time I had encountered it. As a result of meeting this spirit head on a good five times, I have developed quite a bit of information and knowledge on how this spirit works and operates.
I believe the Lord allowed me to have access to these 5 people when I did so I could end up writing an article like this one so I could teach people how to spot one if they ever had one come into their midst, whether it be at home within their family, in the middle of a church or ministry, or even at their place of work.
What is a Jezebel Spirit?
What is the Jezebel spirit? The Jezebel spirit is not just one spirit like Satan is.
This is a “type” of evil spirit in Satan’s kingdom. There is only one devil, one Satan, but there are many spirits that would be considered a Jezebel type spirit, as they all have a particular type of personality and a specific way in which they like to operate.
The reason many deliverance ministers have used the term, “Jezebel spirit,” is because of the nature of its personality and the way it operates once it sets up shop within someone.
The word “Jezebel” is coming from the OT story of Queen Jezebel back in the days of Elijah. She was a ruling queen back at that time and she had cold-bloodedly killed many of God’s prophets back at the time she was ruling.
As we explained to you in our article titled, “The Different Kinds of Demonic Spirits,” demons have two different names. They have their created name given to them by God when they were first created, and they also have a function name, which will tell you what kind of spirit you are dealing with.
For example, some of the function names of demons would be spirits of lust, spirits of anger, spirits of murder, etc. The function name of the demon will tell you the nature of their personality and what they like to specialize in once they move in and attach to a person.
A spirit of anger will try to get a person to act out in fits of rage and anger. A spirit of murder will try and get someone to commit cold-blooded murder. A spirit of lust will try to get a person to commit fornication and/or adultery.
However, when you come across a Jezebel spirit, it is something quite different. Some people have called this a “master” type spirit. Not that it is a master spirit in the sense of being like God, but that it is much more intelligent and cunning than a lot of the other demons are.
Many believe that this type of spirit may be Satan’s smartest and most cunning and evil spirit he has, and he thus dispatches this kind of spirit on specific targets so he can get the most bang for his buck.
Simply put, a Jezebel spirit is one of Satan’s higher-ranking, more intelligent demons if not the smartest kind of demon he has in his kingdom.
And with it being much more intelligent than many of the other lower-ranking demons will be, this makes this type of spirit much more evil, cunning, and harder to deal with once it moves in and attaches to a person.
And with this kind of evil spirit being much more cunning, intelligent, and evil than some of the other lower-ranking demons will be, it will cause a lot more trouble and destruction if it is not quickly dealt with and cast out.
Looking back over my 5 encounters I have had with this spirit, the one thing I have noticed are two specific things:
One, this spirit operates in basically the same way every time it moves in on someone. As a result, it is actually easy to spot after a certain length of time. In other words, it keeps playing the same types of games every time it moves in on a person or a situation.
The second thing I noticed is that this spirit is much more intelligent, cunning, and seductive than many of the other types of demons will be. It will thus be capable of playing more than one type of game with you.
For example, a spirit of anger will only try to make you mad and angry, but a Jezebel spirit will play a number of different games with you as I will show you below when I start to describe the way it will operate and the different kinds of games it will use to try and bring you down.
As a result of this type of spirit being capable of playing more than one kind of game with you, this makes this kind of spirit much more deadly and destructive.
If this spirit is not properly exposed and dealt with within a reasonable length of time, it can totally destroy and completely bring down a marriage, church, ministry, company, or an individual’s life.
The Bible tells us in Matthew 12:43 that there are levels of wickedness in Satan’s kingdom. And if there are levels of wickedness in his kingdom where some demons are actually more evil than some of the other ones will be, then I believe there may different levels of intelligence among the demons as well.
The Jezebel spirit, since it is much more intelligent than some of the lower ranking demons will be, is very good at playing head games with people. It is a total control freak, and it is also very good at manipulation and getting people to do its evil bidding.
Over the years, I have developed quite a bit of information on this type of evil spirit and how it operates, and I now want to share it with all of you so you will be able to spot one if it ever moves into your circle of influence – whether it be in your marriage, in your church, at your place of employment, or in between any of your personal friendships, as this evil spirit loves to break up good and godly relationships.

Here are 11 specific things I have isolated on this spirit once it moves in on someone to set up shop. Again, this type of spirit likes to play the same kind of games every time it moves in and attaches to someone.

Now I will briefly discuss each one of these so you can see how this type of spirit will attempt to move against you and bring you and everything you are connected to completely down.
The Evil Personality Traits of the Jezebel Spirit
I want to start this off with the actual traits of this evil spirit, so you can have all of this information right at the top of this section. Below is a list of the personality traits of this kind of evil spirit.
The Jezebel spirit will try to infect and contaminate the person it is in so they too will operate with these same kinds of evil traits. It has always amazed me over the years that this kind of spirit can get very smart and intelligent people to do its evil bidding so easily.
Some of these people will say and do some of the most horrible things, but yet find some way to rationalize it and think they are perfectly justified in doing what they are doing. This spirit will play some of these people like fiddles, like a puppet on a string, with the puppet master being the Jezebel spirit itself.
Here are some of the evil personality traits to look for with a person who has been operating under this spirit’s evil influence for quite some time.
- Pure Evil and Hate
- Vile
- Maximum Pride
- Highly Lustful and Seductive
- Highly Self-Centered and Narcissistic
- Will Always Seek To Be the Center of Attention
- Very Judgmental, Critical, Condescending, and Demeaning
- Overly Demanding and Manipulating
- Cold, Ruthless, Cunning, and Calculating
- Very Combative and Confrontational
- Very Good at Lying and Cheating
- Cannot Stand Any Type of Constructive Criticism
- Hates All Prophets, Prayer, and Anything to Do With Spiritual Warfare
- Will Be Capable of Giving False Prophecies, Visions, and Dreams
This spirit operates with maximum pride in it. As a result, it will try to infect the host with that same kind of pride. And once it does, the host will no longer be able to accept any type of constructive criticism from anyone. The host will seek its own throne and they will now have to be the total center of attention. Everything will now be about them and them alone.
They also will no longer be able to bond with anyone because they are now totally self-sufficient in their own blown-up egos. The only true friends they will have are the people who will get duped into falling into their web of deceit and lies, where they will now become their mindless followers.
These people will have all of their true friends leave them because no one wants to be around this kind of evil spirit and around these kinds of negative, evil, and destructive personality traits.
And then sooner or later it happens, this person completely fails and falls, as well as losing anything that is close to them.
And this was all due to them allowing this kind of evil spirit to get on the inside of them in the first place, and from there, blindly follow this evil spirit’s leadings to do what it wanted them to do.
I have seen this spirit literally play some people right over the edge of a cliff where they ended up losing everything. And this was all because they were too blind and ignorant to see what was really going on behind the scenes in the spiritual realm.
This kind of spirit is a master at setting up train wrecks and then orchestrating for them to actually occur with individual people, ministries, churches, and companies.
This is why every single Christian church should be teaching their people the basics of true spiritual warfare in the Lord so they will have the knowledge on how to combat these kinds of evil spirits.
Again, the Lord has already given us fair warning when He tells us in His Word that without His knowledge, that His people will go into captivity and perish.
2. The Spider Web Analogy
When someone is walking with this kind of evil spirit deeply entrenched in them, they will initially move and operate on what I call the spider web analogy.
Just like a spider creates a web so it can trap its prey so it can then devour them, the Jezebel spirit will start out in the exact same way once it moves into a certain environment to try and work.
These people are very good at playing the good cop-bad cop game. They will always start out playing the good cop.
These people will initially seem to have their act all together. They will know how to talk the talk. They will know Scripture well enough so they can impress every one with their high level of spiritual development.
They will know how to smooth talk people and use false flattery to gain favor so they can then start to work to get their claws worked into them.
And before you know it, you will be caught in their web. And then once they have you comfortably caught in their web through false flattery and deceit, they will then start to attack you and try to tear you to pieces.
3. There Will Be a Charismatic Type Energy on the Host
Another thing that helps these people lure unsuspecting people into their webs is the amount of charismatic energy they are carrying on them.
When you initially meet these kind of people, you will feel a certain type of energy coming off them and you will initially feel very drawn to them. You will feel like a moth being drawn towards an open flame. This charismatic type energy on them will have a major drawing power to it.
You initially may think it is the presence of the Holy Spirit on them because they will be so good at sounding like they are very spiritual and that they are walking very close to God.
I remember when I first started to see this type of drawing power on these people, I found myself being amazed that an evil spirit could emit this kind of energy off a person. You would think if an evil spirit was attached to someone, that you would be initially totally repulsed and repelled by it.
You would not think demons could have this kind of seductive, drawing power within their evil natures and then be able to project it through their host. But some of these evil spirits do, and the Jezebel spirit has this kind of seductive, drawing power within itself, and from there, it will project this drawing power through the person it is living in.
This is why this spirit has been so successful over the years in bringing down individuals, churches, marriages, and good friendships – all because it has the ability to draw people into their well spun webs, and then before the person knows it or realizes what they have been caught up in, it then moves in for the attack to either kill that person, or try and completely take the person out of commission on whatever their calling is in the Lord.
And this will now take us right into the next caption.
4. Likes To Attach to Sharp, Intelligent, and Attractive People When It Can
As a result of having a very seductive and high energy in its evil nature, the Jezebel spirit likes to attach to sharp, intelligent, and attractive people when it can. Not that it won’t attempt to attach to a less attractive person, but it will make much more headway with want it wants to accomplish if it can find a physically attractive person as will be explained below.
On the 5 cases I have seen, 4 of them were women, and the other was a man. And in each case, each of these people were sharp, intelligent, and very attractive.
I believe the reason this spirit likes to target these kinds of people is because it wants total control of everything. It wants to be just like Queen Jezebel.
It wants the throne for herself and it does not want to share it with anyone else.
As a result, they look for personalities that can help them climb to the top of the heap in whatever environment they are trying to work in.
In a marriage, if the woman is the one with this spirit, she will try and usurp her husband’s authority as the head of the household and will try to totally replace him as the spiritual head of the household.
If this spirit is working in the middle of a prayer group, it will try and work its way to the top so it can be the new leader of the prayer group.
If this spirit is working within the church itself, it will try and work its way to the top to be the right hand man of the pastor, and from there, start to directly attack him so she can completely take him out and knock him right out of his call for the Lord.
You saw what Delilah did with Samson. I believe there was a good possibility that Delilah may have had this kind of spirit operating on her.
And through her very seductive charms and allure, she completely brought down the man with probably the greatest physical strength anointing anyone has ever had with the Lord. And she did it with pure evil seduction.
This is why this kind of spirit is so deadly, because it knows how to use seduction, especially a sexual kind of seduction, to gets its way and then to eventually bring down the person or ministry they have targeted.
As we all know, many men are easily lured into illicit affairs by pretty women. Many have used the expression that some women know how to get a man wrapped around their little fingers. I am sure most you have seen this phenomena occur over and over again. Sex is a very powerful weapon, and this kind of demon will always try and use whenever it can.
This is why it likes to attach to attractive people whenever it can, because it knows it can use that person’s physical attractiveness to draw people into its web.
You think we would all learn our lessons from the past with so many people being brought down by this kind of seductive game, as this same game has been played over and over throughout the centuries by these types of demons. But many people never learn from the past, and just as many people now fall for this same kind of game as they did years ago.
When you combine the power that this spirit has to emit a seductive, charismatic type energy off a person, and then they attach to a person who is naturally attractive, sharp and intelligent, you then have a very deadly combination that this spirit can work with to achieve its ultimate goal.
And that goal is to get total control so it can then work to take down and completely destroy either a person, marriage, church, ministry, friendship, company, or a government.
5. Will Always Seek to be the Center of Attention
Once this spirit has gotten a foothold into the environment it now wants to work in, the next thing it will do after it has lured you into its web by playing the good cop, is to then start to always be the center of attention. And this is where you can really start to pick up and spot this spirit in actual operation.
We all have a natural need and desire for a certain amount of love and attention.
We all need proper encouragement and attention, not only from our parents as we are being raised up, but also from all of our friends and loved ones as we become adults, as we all help each other in keeping up our levels of self-confidence and self-esteem.
However, when a person has this type of spirit operating through them, their need for attention and glory will be way off what would be considered normal. And this is when this spirit starts to get itself exposed to those around it. But it does not really care at this point.
It will do everything it can to get the host to always seek to be the center of attention, with the ultimate goal in mind being to get to the top of the heap in whatever environment it is working in.
Since these types of people usually have that charismatic energy flowing and operating through them from this kind of evil spirit, they initially will be very good at working themselves up the ladder in the environment they are working in.
With this kind of demonic energy operating through them, combined with their natural good looks and high degree of intelligence, these people will sometimes be able to easily talk and play their way right up the ladder.
And then once they have worked themselves up to where they need to be, this spirit will then start to viciously attack and operate with both barrels blazing.
And this will now take us right into the next caption, which will take us right into the real heart of how this spirit will attack and completely undermine everything in its path.
6. Will Seek to Infiltrate, Attack, and Undermine Everything
This evil spirit simply has a two fold mission:
- Seek to infiltrate and once in
- Seek to attack, undermine, and destroy everything in its path, taking absolutely no prisoners. It’s goal is total death and destruction. Plain and simple.
If you are dating a person with this kind of evil spirit on them, they will try and get you to marry them. And until you do, it will be playing good cop with you the whole time so it can continue to lure and draw you into its web. But once you end up marrying this person, that is when the bad cop will emerge, and that is when all hell will literally break out in your life.
If you are a woman dating a man who is a physical abuser, many times he will not show his true colors until after you marry him.
But once you marry him, that is when the actual abuse will start – after he has gotten you totally caught in his web, with the web being the actual marriage itself.
If you are a man dating a woman who has this kind of spirit on her, she will say and do all of the right things as you are dating her. But once you marry her, that is when the tables will be turned and she will start coming directly after you, trying to tear both you and the marriage completely apart.
This spirit first seeks to infiltrate the environment it wants to try and work in. And once it is in, it will then set up shop and start attacking and undermining literally every single thing it can.
This spirit is an attack dog and it will literally attack anything and everything it can, depending on how far the host will cooperate with its evil promptings.
Here is a breakdown of some of the kinds of attacks you can expect once this spirit has gained a good foothold into a certain environment.
A) Will Start Playing Major Mind Games
The one thing I have noticed about this spirit is that it is very good at playing mind games and head games with people.
It will know where your weak spots and jugular veins will be at, and the attacks will always be targeted at your weak spots so it can start to weaken and demoralize you and bring you down.
It will come after your levels of self-confidence and self-esteem. It will come after your calling for the Lord.
It will come after your specific personality traits, both good and bad, to see if they can convince you that you are a nobody and that you will never amount to anything good and worthwhile in this life.
It will try and make you think you are the crazy one and that they are the ones who have all of the knowledge and wisdom.
They will try and make you feel inferior so they can gain the upper hand in the relationship and that you then need to be totally guided by them and dependent upon them.
Before you know it, this kind of spirit can throw you into a depression, along with causing major confusion and indecisiveness. You will feel disoriented and feel like you are caught up in a fog.
In other words, this evil spirit will try to suck the life out of you and tear you down every which way it can so you can no longer function in your calling for the Lord.
The prophet Elijah himself was so distraught and depressed after coming into direct contact with Queen Jezebel and the spirit operating on her, that he almost wanted to throw in the towel and quit until God strengthened him through an angel and then gave him a direct word.
This spirit is very good at being very critical and judgmental and before you know it, it will have you believing in all of the lies it has been throwing your way.
This is where you really have to know who you are in Christ, and that you never allow a person with this kind of spirit on them to be able to bring you down like they almost did with Elijah.
Let this part of Elijah’s story be a major lesson to all of us on how far this spirit will try and go – to literally try and get you to quit and walk out on God’s calling for your life. I believe a lot of the suicides we see may be as a result of this spirit’s evil influence over a person and the mind games it knows how to play with them.
If they can do this with a great man of God like Elijah, they then will be able to do it with some of us.
I have personally seen several men over the years be turned into a heap of mush by women who were operating with this kind of spirit on them. And the way it was done was by the mind games they were playing with the men over a certain period of time.
They just kept beating them down with verbal assaults, tearing at their self-confidence, their self-worth in God, and what they were doing in their callings.
By the time they got done with some of these men, many of them lost their callings in the Lord due to the fear and paranoia that was now oppressing them as a result of allowing this kind of spirit to get too strong of a foothold into their lives and callings for the Lord.
B) Will Cause Major Dissension, Strife, and Chaos
Another thing this spirit is very good at doing is causing a lot of in-fighting, back-biting, and malicious type gossiping among the people that are caught in its web. This kind of spirit knows exactly how to cause major dissension and strife even among the best of friends.
If this spirit infiltrates into a marriage, it will have everyone at each other’s throats. The children will be fighting abnormally among one another.
Each spouse will be fighting with the other, as well as with the children. This spirit is a major peace disturber and it will cause all kinds of havoc and trouble in the family unless it is quickly dealt with and exposed.
If this spirit gets into the middle of a ministry or church, it will again try to get people to start fighting with one another so it can ruin the harmony and unity of a group or church.
Same thing goes if this spirit gets into the middle of an actual company or corporation. It will try and cause as much strife and dissension as it possibly can so it can try and bring down the entire division or company it has targeted.
I wonder how many companies have gone out of business over the years as a result of the destructive influence of this kind of spirit operating on the inside of their company.
You walk into these environments where this kind of spirit is running rampant and unchecked, and you can literally feel the negative and oppressive energy in the air itself.
7. Will Go After Anyone in a Leadership Position
Another major strategy of this spirit is that it will always go after those who are in any type of leadership position.
This would include pastors of churches, youth ministers, worship leaders, leaders of prayer groups and Bible studies, husbands as the head of households, supervisors, and upper level management of different companies and corporations.
If a man marries a woman who has this spirit on her, she will attack the man’s authority as the head of the household and try to get that position for herself.
If this person is working for a church, it will try and work its way as far up the ladder as it can so it can get very close to the pastor himself, and from there, start to work to bring him down just like Delilah did with Samson.
Pastors especially have to always be on the alert for this kind of spirit, as this spirit is always looking for a way to get a direct shot at them so they can bring them completely down and destroy their entire church.
I do not have to tell you how many pastors have lost their ministries over the years because they got seduced into having an affair with a woman who had this kind of spirit on her.
Lust and adultery have brought down too many good men of God over the years, and it was all because they fell under the seductive spell of this evil spirit.
If this spirit infiltrates a prayer group or a Bible study class, it will try and work its way to the top so it can be the leader of the group.
Once it is the new leader, it will then start its attacks so as to completely destroy the group with false teaching, false prophecy, spreading false rumors about other people in the group, causing dissension among the people in the group, along with trying to poison the people of the group against whoever the leaders of the church are.
The reason this spirit wants to take out those in any type of leadership position is because it wants that leadership position for itself. And if it cannot get that leadership position for itself, it will then try and completely destroy it so there is nothing left of it.
This is how some marriages end up in divorce, and this is how some churches end up closing their doors and going out of business – all due to allowing this kind of spirit to run rampant and unchecked in their environment for too long of a period of time.
8. Will Be Capable of Giving False Prophecies, Visions, and Dreams
With this kind of spirit really hating all of God’s prophets, it can only be expected that this spirit will falsely prophesy whenever it can. This kind of spirit is thus able to give its host false prophecies, false words, false dreams, and false visions – all in an attempt to make its host look more spiritual than they really are, and to also lure as many other people into its web that it can so it can build up its own base and following.
Since this spirit is operating at a higher level of intelligence than most of the other demons are, you really have to closely examine any words or prophecies that the host will be getting.
If the host is falsely prophesying under this spirit’s guidance, the Holy Spirit will show you where the errors are at so you can separate a true prophecy from the Lord from one that is coming from this kind of evil spirit.
This is why all prophecy has to be judged and properly discerned, so you can determine where it is really coming from, as the Bible warns us about false prophets being among us like wolves in sheep’s clothing.
9. Runs in Tandem With a Mocking Spirit
Another very interesting thing that I have seen occur on several of the cases I was allowed to watch and observe, is that this spirit runs in tandem with what is called a mocking spirit.
As we have explained before, when a head chief demon such as a Jezebel spirit moves in on the inside of a person’s body, they will usually travel in groups and they will thus have numerous other demons under their control and authority.
One of the underlings to the Jezebel spirit will be what is called a mocking spirit, otherwise known as a blocking type spirit. It’s job will be to cover for the Jezebel spirit and try and distract people from figuring out that this person really has a Jezebel spirit on the inside of them.
Many deliverance ministers have first come across this mocking spirit when trying to deliver someone from the Jezebel spirit. This spirit can actually be quite funny and comical at times and has literally made some deliverance ministers laugh right in the middle of an actual deliverance.
This spirit will try and distract you and get you off center so you do not stay too focused on trying to get to the Jezebel spirit.
This mocking spirit will make fun of, make light of, and make jokes about anything and everything, and it is quite funny and comical when it does.
When it moves in operation ahead of the Jezebel, it will try and take the sting out of some of the evil things that will come out of a person’s mouth and actions, as so many people get very quickly appalled when some of these evil traits start manifesting through a person’s personality.
However, do not let this mocking spirit fool you with its dark humor and jokes. Operating behind it is probably the most evil of all of Satan’s demons.
10. Especially Hates Prophets, Prayer, and Spiritual Warfare
Another very obvious thing with this kind of spirit is its absolute hatred and disdain for anything to do with spiritual warfare, prayer, and anything to do with God’s true prophets.
This spirit hates all of God’s prophets just like Queen Jezebel did back in the OT. And it also hates anyone who is actively involved with spiritual warfare in the Lord.
The reason it hates these two types of people is because prophets and those well trained in the area of spiritual warfare are its greatest threat. Prophets and those who are trained in the area of spiritual warfare can easily spot and pick up when they come across this kind of spirit, and they will then know how to get rid of it if the person is open to receiving an actual deliverance.
If you want to test a person to see if they have a Jezebel spirit on them, just bring up the subject of prophets and spiritual warfare and watch how this spirit will well up with anger and disgust, and from there, will try and change the conversation to something else. You will hit a nerve every time you do this with this kind of spirit.
This spirit also hates any form of prayer to the Lord, as it knows our prayer life with the Lord is what keeps us in the center of His perfect will for our lives.
This is why it loves to infiltrate and attack prayer groups of any kind, so it can attempt to prevent people from staying close to the Lord in their own personal relationships with Him.
11. Will Occasionally Expose Itself on a Photo
Another amazing thing I have seen occur with this kind of spirit is when it seemingly wants to let its guard down when the host is having their picture taken. Every once in while what will happen is that this spirit will literally manifest right through the person’s face and eyes, and it then gets captured by the camera. You will thus see a real, live, Jezebel spirit captured on the actual photo itself.
I do not know if this spirit is doing this just to flaunt itself, or if it wants to see what it looks like through a person’s face, but it is quite amazing how often this actually happens. I remember the first time I had one captured on a photo, you were able to see partly into its personality through the person’s eyes.
What I saw was not only pure evil and pure hate, but I saw an old, ancient spirit with a high degree of intelligence and cunning in it. You could also see that it had a very seductive quality in its personality, and that it would use that seductive quality to lure people into its web so it could eventually eat them up alive and devour them.
You could also see that this thing has absolutely no mercy in its personality and it would kill you in a second if it could do so. This thing is as creepy as it gets.
12. The Host Usually Will Not Know They Have This Kind of Spirit in Them
The saddest thing about these types of cases is that most of the time, the host will not know they even have this kind of spirit operating on the inside of them. These people never feel it moving on the inside of them, nor do they ever hear it trying to talk to them.
This spirit is very good at hiding behind the scenes, but yet at the same time getting the host to do exactly what it wants them to do.
The reason these people are usually clueless that this spirit is operating on the inside of them is because this spirit is so smooth and so cunning in the way in which it operates. This is why this spirit will try and fill the person up with as much pride as they can, so these people will be totally incapable of admitting that they could even have this kind of spirit in them in the first place.
This is how well deceived these people are, and how well this spirit has played and manipulated them during the entire time it has been on the inside of them.
As a result, many of these types of people will never receive a true deliverance from the Lord. And this is all because they have too much pride operating in their personalities, which will prevent them from admitting that they could ever have this kind of spirit operating in them in the first place.

How to Handle a Jezebel Spirit
In part 2, I discussed The Ways in Which the Jezebel Spirit Will Operate. In the first part, I explained what is a Jezebel spirit
In this final part I’ll tell you how to handle a Jezebel Spirit.
1. If you ever come across a person who has this kind of evil spirit on them, and this person is working close with you to some degree, whether it be at the church you attend, the church you work for, your place of employment, or if by chance it be with your very own spouse, the very first thing you must do is go direct to God the Father in prayer and get His direct advice and strategy on how to deal with this thing.
As we said above, in many of these types of cases, the person who is carrying this kind of evil spirit will have no idea they are actually carrying it. By the time you meet them, they may be so full of pride, they will never admit that they could have this kind of evil spirit operating in them in the first place.
If that is the case, then you will have to have God deal directly with that person and pray that He supernaturally show them that they really do have this kind of evil spirit operating on the inside of them.
Until this spirit is fully exposed to the person who has it, and this person is then ready to receive a full deliverance from the Lord, there will be nothing you can really do about it but continue to pray to the Lord that He show this person what the real truth is.
But if God does fully expose this kind of evil spirit to the person who has it, and the person is then ready to be delivered from it, you can then do the deliverance like we have shown you in the other articles in the Spiritual Warfare Section of our site.
You first will need to get good, detailed information on their past, and then find out what the legal rights are that allowed this spirit to enter into them in the first place. And then once you find out what those legal rights are, then get them properly taken care of and fully broken with God the Father.
Then once all of the legal rights have been fully taken care of and broken with God the Father, then move to bind all of the underling demons to the chief Jezebel demon, and then from there, proceed to cast all of them out of the person as one spirit.

Each of these articles will show you how to set someone up for a true deliverance from the Lord.
2. If by chance this person is not open to receiving any kind of deliverance and they are causing major trouble, strife, and dissension in a church, prayer group, or Bible study class, you may have to ask this person to leave so this evil spirit does not continue to attack the other people who are in the same environment with this person.
If you do not ask this person to leave, this spirit will set up shop right in the middle of your church or prayer group, and from there, it will start attacking everyone, trying to cause as much strife, dissension, and chaos as it possibly can. You cannot give any ground to this kind of evil spirit. If you do, it could end up eventually taking down your entire church, prayer group, or Bible study class.
3. If this kind of spirit has infiltrated your work place, the supervisors will need to take charge and let this person go. Again, if they do not, this spirit could end up causing mass mutiny and disloyalty, along with seriously affecting the productivity of your entire work force.
This spirit and the person who is carrying it are toxic, and they will infect and contaminate every person they come into major contact with, as this kind of spirit is an attack dog and will viciously attack anyone who will get too close to it.
4. If your spouse is carrying this kind of evil spirit on them, again, you will need to go direct to God the Father and get His specific instructions on how to deal with this if your spouse is not open to admitting they have this kind of evil spirit on them. God hates divorce, but at the same time He is not going to allow this kind of evil spirit to run rampant and unchecked in a family environment.
As we have showed you in our article titled, “Battle Verses of the Bible,” our God is a powerful Man of War and He will go to war for you and fight this kind of evil spirit if you will just pray for Him to do it for you.
Conclusion
As we said at the top of this article, the Jezebel spirit is without question, one of the most evil and vile spirits you will ever come across in this life. This thing is nothing but pure evil and hate, and all it wants to do is attack and kill everything in its sight.
This spirit has been attacking mankind ever since Adam and Eve were cast out of the Garden of Eden. And until Jesus comes back to set up His Millennium Kingdom and throws Satan and all of his demons into the bottomless pit, we are all going to be stuck with this kind of evil spirit being allowed to roam in the air seeking who it is going to try and attack and devour next.
And if by chance this kind of spirit ever comes into your neck of the woods, go directly to God the Father and get His immediate advice on what you should do and exactly how you should handle this kind of extreme situation.
Again, you cannot give any ground to this kind of evil spirit. If you do, it will establish a stronghold base within your environment and from there, it will launch major attacks on both you and anyone else that is in this environment.
This evil spirit must be resisted right at the outset if at all possible. If it is not, it can eventually end up destroying the entire environment it is working in, whether it be a family, church, prayer group, Bible study class, or an actual company or corporation.
Dealing with the Legal Rights of Demons
This article should be used in conjunction with our article titled, “Deliverance System for Casting Out Demons on the Inside of a Person.”
This article will be used as part of step #4 in that article. This article can also be used on any type of outside case you may be dealing with where demons are attacking someone on the outside of their body.
As we have said before, the rules are still the same whether you are dealing with an inside case or an outside case. Simply find out what the legal rights are that the demons are using to be able to attach to that person, then get them properly taken care of and broken before the Lord, and then go in there and cast the demons out of that person if they are on the inside of their bodies, or cast them off that person if they are attacking them from the outside of their bodies.
As I had said in the above article, I do not believe that demons can enter in on the inside of a person’s body without some type of a specific reason.
I believe that our God is a God of perfect order and reasoning. And if demons are able to get in on the inside of a person’s body, then there has to be some kind of specific reason that has allowed this to occur with them. Otherwise, we would all be having demons living on the inside of us 24/7.
Bottom line – demons cannot enter into a person’s body without having some kind of legal permission and legal right to be able to do so. They need some kind of an entry point to be able to get in and attach to someone, and that entry point will be their door opener.
There are spiritual laws that are in operation in our world, and even demons have to abide by these spiritual laws that have been set up God. The Bible tells us in Revelation 3:20 that Jesus Himself will stand before us and knock on our doors to see if we will be willing to open up that door and allow Him to come into our lives.
In order to have Jesus come into our lives, we first have to be willing to give Him our direct permission to be able to do so, as God will never force Himself on any of us. He will let us know that He will want to come into our lives and that He will always be knocking on our doors, but we will always be the ones who will decide whether or not we will be willing to open up that door for Jesus to be able to come into our lives.
The reason being is that God has given each one of us a full free will and He will never violate that free will that He has given to each and everyone of us.
And it’s the exact same way with demons. Demons cannot enter in on the inside of a person unless they do something specific on their end that will open up the door for them to be able to come into them. And that something specific will be their legal right.
For instance, if someone starts doing heavy drugs or starts to dabble in some area of the occult, and they do not pull out of it within a reasonable length of time, that person’s doors could then be opened up as a result of hole now occurring in their protective hedge with the Lord.
And this open door will now allow the demons to be able to come into that person’s life and from there, they will either try to get in on the inside of that person’s body if they can go that far with it, or they will try and attach to them from the outside, where they will then follow them around like a dark cloud trying to attack them as often as they can from that outside position.
Doing any type of heavy drugs or dabbling with any area of the occult can thus give demons the full legal right to be able to come directly after us, and that is whether we like it or not, or whether we realize it or not.
When demons enter in on the inside of a person’s body, they need something specific to feed on. If a person is doing heavy drugs, then what the demons are feeding on is that person’s heavy drug usage. If someone is dabbling into witchcraft, then what the demons are feeding on is that person’s actual activities in witchcraft.
Deliverance minister Charles Kraft, in his excellent book, “Defeating Dark Angels,” says that demons are like rats and they need garbage to feed on.
If you are doing drugs, then the garbage the demons are feeding on is the actual drug usage. And in order to be able to get set free from the demons, you first have to be willing to get rid of the garbage they are feeding on. This means that the person who is doing drugs first has to be willing to give up the drugs before they can get rid of the demons. If they are not willing to give up the drugs, then they will not be able to get rid of the demons who are attached to them.
In order to be able to cast out demons in someone, you first have to take care of and remove their legal rights. If a person is doing drugs, then the drug usage is the legal right that the demons are using to be able to attach to that person.
In order to be able to set this person fully free from the demons who are attached to them, they then have to be willing to go before the Lord in sincere and heartfelt prayer, and confess out their drug usage as a direct sin before Him, and then be willing to repent and renounce this sin, telling God that they will never, ever go back to it again.
Once that person fully confesses and fully repents of their sin before the Lord, then the demons will no longer have any more legal rights to be able to stay attached to that person, and they will then have to leave this person once you start commanding them to leave this person in the name of Jesus.
The garbage will then have been fully removed and they will then have nothing else left to be able to feed from or hang onto.
In this article, I want to give you 13 specific areas that will give demons the full legal right to be able to come directly after someone if they happen to fall into any of these specific areas for any extended length of time. Each of these specific areas are major door openers for demons if a person does not pull out of it within a reasonable period of time.
Here are the 13 specific areas that demons will use to come after a person so you can have all of them right at the top of this article. I will then go into each one of these specific areas under the separate captions below so you will know exactly what to look for when dealing with a demonized person.
- Direct Willful Sin
- The Occult
- Inheritance – Generational
- Unforgiveness
- Trauma
- Abuse
- Ungodly Soul Ties
- Curses
- Addictions
- Fears and Phobias
- False Religions
- Cursed Objects
- Cursed Buildings
Demons are always looking for any of these specific areas to occur with someone, and each one of these specific areas will give demons the full legal right to be able to come directly after someone if they do not pull out of it within a reasonable length of time.
13 Areas That Demons Will Use as Legal Rights
Here are the 13 main areas that you will really need to hone in on and look for when interviewing someone who has demons attached them. Also make sure to ask the Holy Spirit for His direct help in finding out what all of the different legal rights may be with the person as you are interviewing them.
The battle with these demons will either be won or lost on this specific step. Find out what all of their legal rights are with that person, then get all of them properly taken care of and broken with the Lord, and then the demons will have absolutely nothing else left to be able to hold onto.
Their evil grip will have been totally broken off the person with the completion of just this one step alone, and they will then be much easier to cast off the person once you start to directly engage with them in the name of Jesus.
1. Direct Willful Sin
The first thing you will need to look for if a person approaches you for a deliverance from demons is whether or not they have committed any direct willful sins against the Lord.
Obviously not every sin will cause demons to attack us. But where you will get into trouble in this specific area is on the heavier types of sins, especially if those heavier types of sins are being done on some kind of a regular basis for quite a long period of time with no intent by the person to try and pull out of it.
Here are some of the direct willful sins, if committed on any kind of regular basis, will get us into major trouble in the spiritual realm with demons:
- Any kind of criminal activity
- Doing any type of heavier drugs
- Abuse of alcohol
- Abortion
- Adultery
- Inflicting heavy verbal or physical abuse on another person
All of these areas are major door openers for demons. Many people believe that God will turn a blind eye to the sin of fornication.
But if by chance you are fornicating with a partner who has demons attached to them, then you will give full legal rights for the demons to be able to come directly after you if God will allow a hole to occur in the protective hedge that He has set up on you and your life.
Many Christians do not fully realize how serious of a sin this really is with God, as you will still become one flesh with anyone you are fornicating with, even if you are not in love with that person or directly engaged to marry them. You will develop what is called an ungodly soul tie with the person you are fornicating with, and you will then have to fully break that soul tie with the Lord before you will be able to cast the demons off you
We just recently had several cases come through our site where several women had drawn demons into their bodies as a result of fornicating with men who already had demons attached to them.
Again, this is one sin that should not be taken lightly or taken for granted with the Lord, thinking that He will cut you some slack and prevent any demons from being able to attack you if you decide to directly and willfully disobey His direct Word on this matter.
If the person you are working with has any of these types of specific sins in their background, then what you will have to do to break these kinds of legal rights with the demons is to take the following three steps:
- Confess each one of these sins direct to the Lord, apologize to the Lord for engaging in these sins for as long as they have, and then ask God, through the blood of His Son Jesus, to fully forgive them of these sins and to fully wash away the stain of these sins from their souls.
- Repent and renounce on each one of these sins. When you repent of a sin, you are telling God that you will never, ever go back to it again. If the person ends up going back to the same sins after they have been delivered from the demons, then the same demons can then come back on them and possibly bring back more demons who are going to be seven times more wicked than the first set of demons were, thus making their next state much more worse than what their original state was.
- Fully break and fully sever any ungodly soul ties if there were any other partners involved with them in any of the above sin areas.
Again, the Bible very clearly tells us that the wages of sin is always going to be some kind of death. And death in some of these types of sins is going to be demons who will be allowed to attach to that person if they do not pull out of that sin within a reasonable period of time with the Lord.
If the person is not willing to admit that any of the above areas are sins with the Lord, or if they are not willing to repent and pull out of any of these sins, then you will not be able to set this person free from their demons.
The demons will not leave if you try and cast them out because all of their legal rights will still remain fully in place as long as that person refuses to pull out of that specific sin area.
When interviewing the person on any direct willful sins they may have committed against the Lord, also make sure to ask the Holy Spirit to help guide you and show you any other sins that the person may not have realized were direct sins against the Lord.
The more thorough and the more complete you can be when getting this list of legal rights all out on the table, the easier it will be to cast out the demons once you start to directly engage with them.
2. The Occult
Another major area to look for is any dabbling whatsoever with any area of the occult. I am talking about playing with a ouija board even one time, or seeing a fortuneteller or psychic even one time.
Just one time with any area of the occult could be a major door opener for demons. I cannot tell you how many emails we have received from people all around the world who have drawn demons into their lives as a result of dabbling or experimenting with different areas of the occult.
And if by chance they have drawn demons into their lives as a result of dabbling with the occult, they will then draw in some of the stronger and more evil types of demons in Satan’s kingdom.
This specific sin area is nothing to mess around with. These demons are also the most violent type and the hardest ones to try and actually cast out. They will usually be the ones who will try and fight you tooth and nail before they will leave and pull out of the person.
If the person you are dealing with has any type of occult activity whatsoever in their background, it would be our strong recommendation that you also include this as part of the legal rights to be taken care of with the Lord.
We would also recommend that you print out our article, “The Dangers of the Occult,” and give it to the person so they will have all of the verses from the Bible right at their fingertips on how deadly and dangerous this specific sin really is with the Lord.
Here is a list of the specific occult activities that you will need to look for when interviewing the person:
- Fortunetelling – of any kind such as palm reading, crystal ball gazing, numerology, or seeing psychics
- Tarot Cards
- Ouija Boards and Automatic Writing
- Seances and any involvement with mediums or spiritists
- Astrology and any form of horoscopes
- I Ching
- Hypnotism
- Transcendental Meditation or any type of Far Eastern Meditation
- Crystals
- Witchcraft
- Satanism
- Voodoo
- Channeling
- Reincarnation
- Astral Projection
- ESP
- Dungeons and Dragons – role-playing games
- New Age Movement techniques and activities
- Necromancy
Again, any involvement whatsoever with any of the above occult activities should be taken down as a major legal right. Once you have written down all of the occult activities they have ever been involved in, then what you will have to do to properly break this kind of legal right with the Lord is to take the following 4 steps:
- Confess this activity out as a direct sin against the Lord and all of His ways. Tell God that you are really sorry for committing this type of direct willful sin against Him, as you have been placing demons ahead of God. People who delve into the occult are actually tapping into demons for supernatural guidance in their lives instead of going direct to the Lord for His guidance in their lives.
- Renounce this sin before the Lord, telling God that you will never, ever go back to it again. This sin is so heavy and so serious with the Lord, that you not only have to confess it out as a sin, but you also have to formally renounce it before God, telling Him that you will never dabble or experiment with it ever again.
- Burn or throw away all objects associated with the occult. This will include all books, statues, paintings, drawings, notebooks, jewelry, etc. Demons can continue to remain attached to all of these kinds of objects, and if you do not burn or throw all of them away, the demons can continue to remain attached to these objects and thus continue to remain in your house where they can still attack you.
- Fully break and sever all ungodly soul ties to any other people they have been closely associated with in the area of the occult they have been dabbling in. Any mentors, teachers, and instructors that have been teaching them can all form out a demonic and ungodly soul tie with them. They have to be willing to fully break away from all of the people they have been associated with in the specific area of the occult they have been delving in.
Again, we cannot emphasize enough how dangerous and deadly this particular legal right is with demons. The number of Christians we have personally seen who have delved into the occult and who have drawn demons into their lives as a result is quite staggering.
3. Inheritance – Generational
Another major area that demons will look to play in is in the area of the family generation line. We have a separate article in our site that will fully explain this particular legal right for you.
We ask that you go to our article titled, “Battle Prayer to Break a Generational Curse Line,” for a full explanation as to what this legal right is all about. In this article are the basic steps the person will need to take to fully break this kind of legal right with the demons.
You will need to check out the family generation line when interviewing the person to see if there are any curses or any kind of dysfunctional activity going on up their family line that the demons are feeding on and attaching to.
You will need to see if any of their family members have any type of heavier sins on them such as heavy drug abuse, alcoholism, suicide, major depression, any kind of heavy involvement with the occult, or any kind of sexual and/or physical abuse.
If any of their parents or grandparents have demons attached to them as a result of their involvements with these kinds of heavier sins, then what the demons will try and do if they possibly can, is to jump and transfer down the family line, trying to get some of the other members of the family to do the exact same things as their parents and grandparents had been doing.
You thus will have some of the children of parents who were abusers and alcoholics become abusers and alcoholics themselves, all as a result of demons transferring down the family generation line trying to get them to do the exact same thing they had been able to get their parents to do.
In the above article, we give you 6 basic steps to break this kind of heavy activity with the demons. I will go ahead and list out 4 of those basic steps in this caption so you can have all of them right at your fingertips. The other two basic steps will be mentioned in our main article, “Deliverance System For Casting Out Demons on the Inside of a Person.”
- Confess the sins of your sinning parent to God the Father
- Be willing to fully forgive your sinning parent
- Break any ungodly soul ties with the sinning parent
- Break the curse line of the demons
In the above article on how to break a generational curse line is an actual testimony of a 16 year old girl who had demons trying to attach to her as a result of the sins of her natural father and grandfather.
We have in this article the exact battle prayer that we had given to her that fully broke the legal rights of the demons who were trying to attach to her. She was able to be set fully free from the demons who were trying to attach to her on the very first attempt with our battle prayer.
4. Unforgiveness
Another major area that demons will really target is in the area of unforgiveness. The reason demons will move in so strongly on this area is due to the following verse:
“AND WHENEVER YOU STAND PRAYING, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.” (Mark 11:25)
Not only does this verse tell us that God will not be forgiving all of our trespasses if we do not forgive the ones who have trespassed against us, but this verse is also implying that we may have a very hard time in getting any of our personal prayers answered with Him, as it starts out with the specific wording, “And whenever you stand praying.”
This phrase could be implying that you may also have a hard time in getting any of your personal prayers answered with God if you are not willing to forgive all of those who have ever trespassed against you in this life. And demons would love nothing better than to be able to shut down your personal prayer life with the Lord.
That is why it is so extremely important that every single Christian do the best they can with the Lord to fully forgive all of those who have ever done them wrong in this life.
Vengeance and payback in this life belongs to the Lord, not to us. There thus is no reason why any of us should continue to hold onto feelings of anger, bitterness, and hatred towards all of those who have ever harmed us in this life. Sooner or later, all of the people who have ever harmed you in this life will have to face God Almighty Himself for their own personal judgments. And when they do, they will have to answer direct to God for whatever they have done to you in this life.
This is why you can totally let go of all of the people who have ever hurt you in this life into the hands of God, as God will be evening out all of the scores when everything is all finally said and done.
Since this is such a big legal right that demons will use to try and attach to someone, always make sure to delve into this particular legal right when interviewing the person. Find out if they are holding any grudges or any type of unforgiveness towards anyone in their lives. If they are, then lead them in a prayer that will have them totally forgive all of the people who have ever hurt them.
Also tell them that all God is looking for at this time is just for them to make this personal confession out of their mouths direct to Him, even if their feelings and emotions will not be lining up with this confession.
Over a period of time, the Holy Spirit can then move on them to help heal up their emotions from all of the hurts that have been inflicted upon them.

For many people, this will be a real tough request. But the verses from our Bible are so strong and so clear on this issue, that there is simply no room for debate or compromise with the Lord.
Either we forgive others for what they have ever done to us in this life, or the Lord will not be forgiving us of our own trespasses that have been made directly against Him. And that is not a place you want to be in with the Lord in your own personal relationship with Him.
Demons know this and that is why they will do everything they can to try and cause the person to hang onto feelings of bitterness, anger, and hatred towards all of those who have ever hurt them in this life.
That is what the demons will feed on until the person fully releases and fully forgives all of the people for whatever wrongs they have done to them, no matter how bad and how severe those wrongs may have been.
5. Trauma
This next area is one area where many people would not think that demons would be very active on. But do not let this fool you. Examples of trauma in this life where demons will look to fully exploit would be the following types of adverse situations:
- The sudden loss of your job
- Having to go through a painful and messy divorce
- The sudden death of a very close loved one like a spouse or one of your children
- A major type of illness
- A major car accident where you are seriously injured
Demons will waste no time in trying to move in on these types of extreme situations. How many times do we see reported in our daily news that someone has just killed his wife due to a pending divorce, or someone has killed several people at the job where they had just been laid off at.
The sudden loss of a job, the breakup of a marriage, or the sudden death of your spouse or one of your own children can all cause severe depression to sink in very quickly.
And from there, that person could very easily sink into a heavy pit of despair where they are no longer wanting to live anymore. Some of these types of situations will cause some people to literally take their own lives, as they cannot handle the grief, despair, and anguish they are going through.
When demons see these kinds of extreme situations unfolding before them, they will then move in to try and push that person right over the edge of the cliff, trying to get them to either commit suicide, or try to get them to kill the other people that are associated with the pain they are now feeling – like the fellow employees at the job they just got laid off at, or the spouse who is filing for a divorce against them.
Spirits of fear, rejection, and depression will be some of the main demons who will then try and move in on a situation like this. The shock and trauma of a major event like some of the ones described above can break down a person’s normal defenses and thus create a big opening for demons to be able to move in to try work the situation to their advantage.
The remedy for this type of extreme situation is the full surrender, which we have listed as one of the main steps in being able to receive a full deliverance from the Lord. Bottom line – lead this person into a full surrender and explain to them that God will now start to move and guide them out of whatever adverse situation they may have just fallen into.
If they have just lost their job, God can now move to lead them to the next job that He will want them to have. If they have been involved in a bad car accident, God can now move to heal them up and start to help guide them through all of the things they will need to do to properly resolve everything.
If a person has just lost a close loved one in a sudden death, God can help comfort them and help bring them peace and explain to them that they will be reunited with their loved one once they leave this life and enter into heaven.
If someone is going through a painful and messy divorce, God can still move to give them a brand new start and a brand new life if for whatever reason He did not move earlier on to keep the marriage together.
Bottom line – whatever adverse situation you may end up facing in this life, it will not be the end of the world for you.
If God can create our entire world in 6 days, then He can also help you handle any type of adverse situation you may have just fallen into, no matter how bad and how hopeless things may appear to you in the natural.
If nothing is impossible with God, then He will have no problems in being able to help you handle whatever adverse situation may have just struck you with the force of a tornado.
If you suspect that demons are trying to attach to someone as a result of them going through some type of traumatic event, then lead that person into a full surrender prayer where they will now turn their entire problems and their entire lives over into the hands of God the Father for Him to fully handle. Once you do that, then the demons will no longer have any more legal rights to hang onto, as they will know now that God will be in full control over everything from this point on.
We have an article just on this one issue alone. The title of this article is, “The Full Surrender,” and it is in the Bible Basics section of our site.
It would be our strong recommendation that you print this article out for them, have them read it in its entirety, and then have them do the full surrender prayer that is in there.
Once they do that full surrender prayer to the Lord, then He will move in to take full and complete control over every detail in their lives, including helping them handle whatever adverse situation that may have just come into their lives.
Once that full surrender has been made to the Lord, then you can directly engage with the demons, telling them to back off and that they no longer have any more legal claim over this person since they have just made that full surrender to the Lord.
6. Abuse
Another major area to always look for with demons is any kind of abuse in the person’s background. This would include any kind of sexual abuse. Any kind of heavy verbal and/or physical abuse. Demons will try to move in very quickly on both the abuser and the ones they are abusing if they see any kind of verbal, physical, and sexual abuse being inflicted upon someone for any appreciable length of time.
If there is any abuse in the person’s background with any of their parents, boyfriends, or spouses, it would be our strong recommendation to also include this as a valid legal right and then go ahead and properly break it before the Lord.
What you will have to do to properly break this kind of legal right is to take the following two steps:
- Forgive all of the people who have ever abused them in their past.
- Fully break and sever any ungodly soul ties that have developed between the person and the people who have abused them, even if it is one or both of their parents.
You can also lead them to our article, “How to Handle Negative Feelings When Wronged by Someone Else.” Again, God will just be looking for a confession out of their mouths at this stage when they are trying to forgive all of those who have ever abused them, even if their emotions and feelings are not lining up with the confession that will be coming out of their mouths.
Over a period of time, the Holy Spirit can then move down into their emotions and start the inner healing process so their emotions can eventually come into line with their right thinking on this matter. But you do not have to wait for all of this to occur before you can cast out the demons.
As long as they are in complete agreement with you and they are willing to make a complete, formal confession out of their mouths to the Lord that they will be willing to forgive all of the people who have ever abused them, that will then be good enough with the Lord, and you can then move to cast the demons out of them after they have fully forgiven everyone.
7. Ungodly Soul Ties
As you can see from some of the above legal rights, the issue of soul ties will come up quite frequently with many of these legal rights. This should be another area that you automatically check when interviewing the person, since this one is such a frequent legal right that the demons will use.
A soul tie can either be a good one or a bad one. A good soul tie is when you develop a good, godly, and healthy spiritual bond with another person. Good soul ties should be developing between parents and their children, between husbands and wives, and between people who are good friends with one another.
A good example of a good type of soul tie in the Bible is the friendship that had occurred between King David and Jonathan. The Bible says that the souls of David and Jonathan were knitted together. Here is the verse:
“And it was so, when he had finished speaking to Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.” (1 Samuel 18:1)
But just as a soul tie can be a good, godly, and healthy one, they can also go in the opposite direction where they can then become ungodly and unhealthy. This happens quite a bit in heavy abuse type situations, where the abuser is trying to control and manipulate the one they are abusing.
Once this starts to occur, the one who is being abused will start to fear the one who is abusing them and they will then do everything they can to try and please the abuser so the abuse will be kept at minimum levels.
But this obviously never works. Once this cycle of abuse starts to occur, the abuser never lets up and they will then continue on with the abuse until the person has had enough and decides to break away from that person.
However, with all of the abuse this person has taken over the years, there is always the possibility that demons will move in to try and attach to the person who is being abused.
If the person does not break away from the one who is abusing them within a reasonable length of time, then an ungodly soul tie could develop between the two of them. As such, it would be our recommendation to also include this as a possible legal right.
Ungodly soul ties can also occur between parents and their children if the parents are abusing their children. It can also occur between a husband and wife if the one spouse is either verbally and/or physically abusing the other spouse. Ungodly soul ties can also occur between two friends if the one starts to try and control and manipulate the other one against their own will.
God has given each man and each women a full free will and no one has the right to violate that free will that has been given to us by God. We should always respect one another’s free will and not try and force our wishes or our ways on another person.
Not even God Himself will violate our free will. He will always give us the ability and the freedom to make our own choices in this life, even if many of those choices will end up being the wrong choices for our lives.
If God Himself gives us the ability to make free will choices in our lives, then so should the other people who in our lives. But yet so many people in this life like to try to control and manipulate others for their own gain and profit.
As a result, many people fall into slavery to other people because they are too afraid to stand up for themselves and too afraid to try and break away from the ones who are abusing them. Since demons are all about control and domination, they will waste no time in moving in on someone if they see they are being abnormally controlled and manipulated by another person.
As such, every unhealthy and ungodly soul tie that is still in a person’s life needs to be fully broken before the Lord so the demons will have nothing else left to feed on and attach too.
8. Curses
There are 3 types of curses that demons can use to come after someone.
A) Direct Curses – this is where someone who is heavy into the occult will try and curse someone direct. Both witches and satanists will try and do this with those who they think are their enemies, and we as Christians are definitely one of their direct enemies.
However, our Bible tells us that a curse cannot land on us without a cause. In other words, if a witch or a satanist tries to send a curse our way, it will not land on us due to the protection that we already have with God. But if we have done something that would have caused a hole to occur in our protective hedge with the Lord, then that curse might be able to get through and land on us. And if it does, then the demons who will be attached to that curse will then try and attack us.
Here is the verse from our Bible telling us that a direct curse cannot land on us without some type of proper cause being in place:
“Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, so a curse without cause shall not alight.” (Proverbs 26:2)
If the person you are working with tells you that a curse has already been sent their way by someone who is into the occult, and they are already under direct attack from the demons who are riding on that curse, then the first thing you will need to determine is if this person has done anything on their end that would have caused a hole to occur in their protective hedge with the Lord.
If the person has done something sinful to have caused a hole to occur in their protective hedge with the Lord, then get it properly taken care of and broken with the Lord. Then once you do that, you can then form out the appropriate battle prayer to break the curse and the hold that it still has on this person.
For instance, if this person was also dabbling in the occult, then they will have to break this legal right like we explained above under the occult caption.
Then once that person has both fully confessed and fully renounced their sin of being involved in the occult before the Lord, then they can turn around and directly engage with the curse and the demons who are riding on it and render it completely null and void in the name of Jesus.
If by chance they have not done anything that would have caused a hole to occur in their protective hedge with the Lord, then you can have them directly engage with the demons, telling them that this curse has no cause to be able to land on them, and that you will now prevent this curse from being able to harm them any further.
You can also plead the blood of Jesus directly against the curse, directly against the person who is sending the curse their way, directly against the demons who are riding on this curse, along with pleading the blood directly around them so as to form out a protective covering and shield for them.
B) Self- Cursing – the next type of curse that can come someone’s way is when a person actually curses their own selves. Good examples of self-cursing is when someone is constantly telling themselves that they are no good, they will never amount to anything, they will never achieve any of their goals or dreams, they are too fat and ugly, they will never have any true friends, or that no one is ever going to like them, approve of them, or love them.
Per our article in the sanctification section, “You Are What You Think,” this type of negative thinking can really do damage to one’s self-esteem and self confidence. And from there, it can prevent that person from ever being able to reach their true divine destiny and their true potential in the Lord in this lifetime.
The Bible tells us that we are transformed by the renewing of our minds, and part of that renewal process is getting the right type of thinking put into our minds and thought process.
When you are constantly talking down to yourself, you are in fact cursing your own self with your own words. When demons see someone who is constantly doing this and they are making no attempt to pull out of it, they will waste no time in moving in to help that person out even more.
The demons will then interject their thoughts into the person’s mind, telling them that they are in full agreement with their own destructive words to themselves, that they really are a nobody, that no one will ever love them, that they are a total failure in this life, and that they will never amount to anything good or worthwhile in this life.
What the demons will try and do is to keep the pressure on from their end so they can either try to get this person to commit suicide, or throw them into a severe state of depression where they will no longer be able to function in this life anymore.
If the person you are dealing with has demons attached to them as a result of a lot of self-cursing on their end, then what you will have to do before you can cast the demons off them, is to get their thinking straightened out in the Lord.
Tell them and show them who they really are in Jesus Christ. Tell them that God has a specific plan, purpose, and calling for their lives. Tell them that God is no respecter of persons and that He loves them and cares for them as much as He does anyone else.
3 good articles that you can give them from our sanctification section to help them get a grip on this revelation from the Lord are the following – “God is No Respecter of Persons” – “You Are What You Think – “Death and Life Are in the Power of the Tongue.”
Once you get their thinking half-way straightened out, then you can go after the demons, telling them that they no longer have any more legal rights to this person now that this person has been told what the real truth is and who they really are in Jesus Christ.
C) General Curses – these are non-deliberate types of curses. Examples of these types of curses are when someone close to you makes a cutting and hurtful remark, like you will never make it if you try and go to college, or don’t try to become a doctor because you are not smart enough, etc.
We can all remember specific hurtful words that we have received from our parents or close friends that had cut right through us like a knife and have stayed with us for quite a long period of time. But again, you have to remember that God is in total control of your life, not your parents or your close friends.
God will decide what He will be wanting you to do for Him in this life, and nothing can alter that divine course that has already been set up for your life by the Lord but you yourself.
Hurtful words from any of your parents and close friends will not alter your divine destiny with the Lord unless you allow it to do so. In other words, do not believe and keep dwelling on any type of hurtful type words when they do come your way, no matter who they may come from.
Just realize that we are all imperfect and every once in awhile people will say mean and hurtful things to you. But do not take what they say to heart – and do not let it get a foothold into your mind and thought process.
If you do, it can then curse you and from there, you can start to believe and act on it. And once you start to believe and act on it, demons could then move in to try and make your situation even worse.
They will just add more lies to the ones already spoken out to you, and before you know it, you will have fallen into a state of depression and despair, thinking that your life is now over and not even God can help you now.
If the person you are working with has any of this type of wrong thinking in their minds, again, build them up in the Word and let them know who they really are in Jesus.
Tell them that Jesus already has a perfect divine plan set out for their lives and for them to learn how to let the Holy Spirit straighten out their thinking. Once you get them built up a bit in the Word on this issue, then cast the demons off them, as they will then lose their evil grip on the person once that person starts to get their thinking lined up with the way that God will want them to be thinking in this life.
These last two types of curses really do show us how powerful spoken words can be when they are released to other people or even to our own selves. We can literally curse other people and even our own selves without really meaning to do so.
Once again, the Bible really hits the nail on the head when it tells us that we all carry either life and death in our tongues – and it is up to each and every one of us as to what kinds of words we will release to the other people who are in our lives. Too many people are bringing death, cursing, and misfortune to other people with what is coming out of their mouths, especially to those who are very close to them.
9. Addictions
This next legal right is also a major feeding ground for demons. You can break addictions down into two different types – those that are behaviorally based and those that are chemically based. But whether an addiction is chemically based or behaviorally based, once again, demons will waste no time in moving in to try and make matters even worse.
Here are some of the specific addictions that demons will try and move in on if person does not try and pull out if it within a reasonable amount of time:
- Alcohol
- Cocaine
- Heroin
- Meth
- Marijuana
- LSD
- Anti-prescription drugs
- Anorexia
- Bulimia
- Gluttony
To be set free from both the demons and the addictions that are on them, the person has to be willing to take the following three steps:
- Confess out the addiction as a sin before the Lord and ask Him to fully forgive them and wash away the stain of this sin from their soul and body.
- Ask God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to take out this addiction from their personalities and lifestyle if they do not have enough will power on their own to pull out of it. The will need an inner healing from the Holy Spirit.
- Once they have fully surrendered their addictions over to the Lord for His full and complete handling, then engage with the demons, telling them that they no longer have any more legal rights to stay attached to this person since they will now be under God’s direct authority and power from this point on – and that they will now be working very closely with the Holy Spirit to remove this addiction and stronghold from their life.
If the person is really bound up and they do not think they can break free from their addictive lifestyle, show them from the Word that there is nothing that God cannot do, including being able to set them fully free from whatever they are addicted to.
Explain to them that as as a Christian, they already have the Holy Spirit residing on the inside of them, along with His full divine power to be able to set them fully free from both their specific addictions and the demons who are attached to them.
10. Fears and Phobias
With the mind being the actual battlefield in the area of spiritual warfare, demons will always look for any sign of abnormal, mental weakness. And this is where you get into some of the different types of abnormal fears and phobias that people can develop.
These types of fears and phobias are all irrational. The normal person will not have these types of irrational fears operating on them. Examples of these types of irrational fears are the following:
- Being too afraid to drive again if they have been involved in a car accident.
- Women being too afraid of men if they have been sexually abused in their past. This type of unhealthy fear will also prevent them from ever being able to have a normal healthy relationship with another man.
- Fear of failure if they have always been told by their parents and friends that they will never amount to anything. This type of irrational and unhealthy fear can also keep them from being able to reach what God has called them to do for Him in this life.
Initially, all of these types of irrational fears are totally understandable at the outset if they have come into a person’s life as a result of some kind of abuse or trauma. But where people can get into trouble in this realm is if they wallow too long in these types of unhealthy fears.
If they do not get a proper grip on this type of unhealthy fear, this fear can then take over their entire life where they will no longer be able to function in certain areas of their lives as a result of that fear always hounding and following them. And from there, demons can then move in to intensify the fears they are already feeling.
If a woman has been sexually abused by her father during part of her growing years in the household, then she could have a very hard time in being able to trust any man when she gets out on her own, as she will always think and feel that every man that she will ever meet will be just like her father.
If she does not pull out of this type of irrational fear within a reasonable period of time, that fear could then cripple and paralyze her and prevent her from ever being able to marry anyone, thus causing her to miss out on a real big blessing that God would have wanted her to have in this life. And this was all as a direct result of an abnormal and irrational type of fear totally controlling and dictating her life.
Demons know that these types of irrational fears and phobias can totally shut someone down in the Lord, so again, they will waste no time in moving in to try and make matters even worse for the person.
Once spirits of fear and paranoia attach to this kind of person, they will then become even more bound up than what they already were, and before you know it, they won’t trust anyone in their lives.
To help set this kind of person free from both their fears and the demons who are attached to them, they will need to take the following 2 steps:
- Confess out their fears to the Lord, asking Him to take complete control of their thought life and emotional life and ask Him, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to do inner surgery on them so they can get their thinking straightened out and their emotions healed up so their irrational fears do not continue to rule over them and destroy their lives. They will have to make a full and complete surrender of their bodies, their souls, their spirits, and their entire lives over to the Lord so that He will be fully free to start the inner healing process with them.
- Once that full surrender has been made to the Lord, along with a request for His direct help in getting them cleaned up and healed from their irrational fears – then directly engage with the demons, telling them that they no longer have any more legal rights to stay attached to this person now that they have turned the reigns of their entire lives over to the Lord, along with asking for His direct help in taking out these types of abnormal and irrational fears that have been operating in them for too long of a period of time.
After this kind of heartfelt prayer is made to the Lord, then the Holy Spirit will start to move to take out these kinds of irrational fears and phobias the person may have developed over the years from any kind of dysfunctional activity or traumatic events they may have experienced.
11. False Religions
As we have stated in our article titled, “The Different Kinds of Demonic Spirits,” we believe there is only one way to God the Father and His kingdom of heaven, and that is only through His Son Jesus Christ and His sacrificial death on the cross. We do not believe there are any other names or any other ways into the kingdom of heaven other than through Jesus Christ and His sacrificial death on the cross.
As such, every other false religion that is out there has been set up by Satan and his demons. If you are dealing with a person who has come from any of these other false religions, you will first have to be able to convert them over to Jesus. If they are not willing to accept Jesus Christ as their true Lord and Savior, then you will not be able to set them free from the demons who are attached to them.
If they are willing to accept Jesus Christ as their true Lord and Savior, then what you will have to do with them, if by chance they have demons attached to them as a result of being involved in a false religion or cult, is the following:
- Have them formally renounce their allegiance to the previous false religion or cult they had been involved in.
- Then directly engage with the demons, telling them that this person is now a brand new creation in Jesus Christ, that they now belong to Him and Him alone, and that all of their legal rights have now been fully removed and fully broken since they have now fully renounced all ties and all allegiances to the false religion they had been previously involved in.
Once the person fully renounces all ties and allegiances to the false religion or cult they had been previously involved in, then the demons will no longer have any further legal rights to this person, and they will then have to leave this person once you start to command them to leave in the name of Jesus Christ.
12. Cursed Objects
Another major area where demons like to play in is with cursed objects. Demons can literally attach themselves to certain types of objects. And if a person happens to bring one of these cursed objects into their house, the demons can then start to attack the people who are living in the house as a result of them being attached to that object.
The legal right they are now using will be the cursed object itself. That is why in the above caption on the occult that we have you immediately discard every single object that is associated with the occult in any way.
Here is a very good verse from our Bible that is telling us that we are not to bring cursed objects into our houses:
“You shall burned the carved images of their gods with fire; you shall not covet the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it for yourselves, lest you be snared by it; for it is an abomination to the Lord your God. Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be doomed to destruction like it; but you shall utterly detest it and utterly abhor it, for it is an accursed thing.” (Deuteronomy 7:25-26)
Another area where people can into trouble is when they go overseas and bring back objects from other pagan nations. Bringing back any kind of a statue, painting, drawing, or jewelry of a foreign god from a pagan nation can also become a major entry point for demons to be able to enter into your house.
If demons are attached to the object that you have just brought back home and you allow it to stay in your house, the demons will then be able to set up shop in your house and start to attack the various members of your family.
If by chance the person you are working with has demons roaming in their house as a result of them being attached to a particular object they have brought back home with them, have them take the following 3 steps:
- Go before God and confess this out as a sin before Him, telling Him that you are sorry and that you did not know that this particular object was cursed with the presence of demons on it.
- Burn or throw away this cursed object so it is fully removed from their house.
- Then do a full house cleansing.
What you will want to do when doing a full house cleansing is to walk around the perimeter of the house claiming both the house and the land for the Lord, pleading the blood of Jesus around the house so that no further demons can try and get back in, anoint the main rooms of the house with anointed oil over the top of the entrances, and then cast out any evil spirits that might still be trying to hang on, telling them that all of their legal rights have now been fully removed with the discarding of the cursed objects they were all attached to.
13. Cursed Buildings
Another area where people can come under direct demonic attack is when they move into a new house that already has demons in there from the previous owners. If the previous owners were involved in any kind of occult activity, and they then leave and sell the house to the next set of owners, the demons who were attached to the previous owner can still stay in that house due to the legal rights that were granted to them by the previous owner.
This means that the new owners of the house will have to do a full house cleansing when they move in. Again, the new owners should walk around the perimeter of the house claiming both the land and the house for the Lord. Then plead the blood of Jesus around both the house and the land so they can have God’s full protection over all of their property.
From there, anoint each one of the main rooms in the house by applying anointed oil over the tops of the entrances into each one of the rooms, once more claiming each of the rooms for the Lord and commanding any demons who are still in there to now leave in the name of Jesus Christ.
When doing the house cleansing, also tell the demons that you are now the new home owners, that you have not given them any legal rights to be able to attach to you, and that they will now have to leave your new house since you had no involvement whatsoever with the previous owners or whatever else they were involved in that gave them the legal rights to be able to stay in the house in the first place.
I would also have the person try to find out what the previous owners were involved in that allowed the demons to attach to the house in the first place. If you can find out what the specific legal rights were from the previous owner, you can then use that additional information in your prayer once you start to do the house cleansing.
Conclusion
When trying to help someone who has demons attached to them, whether those demons be on the outside of their bodies or living on the inside of their bodies, the above 13 areas will give you a good place to start so you can find out exactly what the legal rights are that is allowing these demons to still continue to remain attached to this person.
When interviewing the demonized person, just make a list of every single major legal right that you can uncover as you question them on their past.
Then once you have all of the legal rights written down on paper, then form out the appropriate type of prayer to have all of these legal rights properly taken care of and broken with the Lord. You will also have to break each one of these legal rights individually with the Lord.
And then once you have fully broken all of their legal rights with the appropriate kind of prayer to the Lord, then you can go directly after the demons, telling them that all of their legal rights have now been fully broken and that they will now have to leave this person in the name of Jesus.
We would now refer you back to our article, “Deliverance System for Casting Out Demons on the Inside of a Person,” for the rest of the steps that will need to be taken if you are going to be the one to actually cast the demons out of someone.
Deliverance System for Casting Out Demons
As we have said before in the other articles in our Spiritual Warfare section – when demons are attacking someone, they are either doing it from the outside, which means they are on the outside of the person’s body, or they are doing it from the inside, which means they are in the inside of a person’s body.
In this article, I want to give you a good deliverance system to use when dealing with some of these heavier inside type of cases.
Every good deliverance minister has his own ways and his own system that he uses when dealing with these heavier inside type of cases.
Over the years the way that I personally developed this system was to first read and study from the deliverance ministers who have actually written books on this subject matter, who have done this on a very regular basis, and who have had very good success with all of it.
My common sense just told me that God has been raising people up in this area over the last 20-30 years, and that some of them have been instructed by Him to write books on their experiences so they can help teach others on how to do this. Jesus tells us to cast out demons in the Bible, but He does not tell us exactly how to do it. The Bible also tells us that the Holy Spirit is our Teacher and Guide In this life.
Put these two verses together, and I believe that God is trying to tell all of us that you have to be led and taught by the Holy Spirit on how to do all of this. And the way that you do this is to first start reading from all of the people who have very anointed ministries on this part of our walk with the Lord, and then work on the cases that God will start to bring your way.
Once those cases start to come your way from the Lord, then the Holy Spirit will take charge and teach you and lead you as to how to do it.
In other words, you will learn how to do it by actually trying to do it with the real live cases that God will start to bring your way.
Sooner or later, you have to actually jump in the water before you can really learn how to swim in that water. And it is the exact same way in the area of being able to deliver people from demons.
You will actually learn how to do all of this by taking on the individual cases that God will start to bring your way over the course of time.
And do not worry about making mistakes in this area. This is all a big learning curve with God and He will cover you if you make any honest mistakes along the way. Many people never try to do any type of deliverance for fear they will either mess up, or for fear that this is all just too hard, too messy, and too ugly to get into in the first place.
For those of you who really feel no leadings from the Lord to enter into this kind of arena for some of the above reasons, then that is okay too. Most Christians will never get involved with any type of deliverance ministry where they are dealing direct with demonic spirits for some of the above reasons. But what I would tell these type of people is that God can still use you anyway in a mighty way to help other people out that do have demons attacking them.
As we have said in our article, “Looking for a Deliverance Minister,” if you are too afraid or just flat out do not want to be doing this type of intense work for the Lord, you can still work with demonized people by trying to get them to a good deliverance minister in your area who can get them delivered if you do not want to do it yourself.
In the above article is a very dramatic testimony of a woman who did just that for her demonized roommate. She had to go seeking and searching for the right person who could get her roommate delivered, but she eventually found the right minister on the third attempt.
As a result, her roommate received a full-scale deliverance from the Lord and she is still demon-free to this very day. And this was all due to the fact that her roommate cared enough to try and do this for her.
Again, if any of you simply do not want to enter into this type of intense work for the Lord, but would like to be used by Him from time to time to help these kind of people out, just read and follow the logical and straight forward steps that are in that article on leading someone to the right deliverance minister who will be able to help set them free.
And then once you do find a few good people who know how to do this type of work for the Lord in your area, then you can refer other demonized people to them down the road if God were to ever lead any more of these types of cases your way.
Before I get into this deliverance system on dealing with demons who are on the inside of people, I want to cover two other topics in this area of our walk with the Lord. Once you start to try and educate yourself in this area, you are going to come across two very big areas of debate.
1. Can Demons Live on the Inside of a Christian?
The first big area of debate that you will come across is whether or not Christians can actually have demons living and operating on the inside of them.
Many will say that once you are saved and born again, that there is no way that a demon can enter in on the inside of you.
We have now been bought back by Jesus Christ Himself and He now “owns” us. Thus, there is no way that a demon or a group of demons can enter in on the inside of a Christian.
At first glance, this appears to be a very logical and valid argument. But in the actual fields of combat, the deliverance ministers who do this on a very regular basis, have found out that Christians can get demons on the inside of them if the appropriate legal rights have been given to the demons to be able to enter in.
Here is their reasoning, and for the record, we do fully agree with this reasoning. The Bible says that we have three parts to our being – body, soul, and spirit. When we get saved and born again, the Holy Spirit comes to live in our human spirits.
It is our human spirit that is instantaneously regenerated and born again at our conversions. Our souls and our bodies are not regenerated at this new birth, it is just our spirits. Please refer to our article, “Regeneration by the Holy Spirit,” on the actual verses on all of this.
What happens in the spiritual realm is that if the appropriate legal rights have been given to the demons to be able to enter in, they will then move into the body and soul of the person. The demons will not be able to enter into the spirit of a Christian because the Holy Spirit is already living there.
One deliverance minister uses the analogy of the Temple that the Jewish people built for God the Father back in the Old Testament to illustrate all of this.
In that Temple built for God by the Jewish people, there were three main parts to it – the Outer Court, the Inner Court, and the Holy of Holies. The manifest presence of God was only in the Holy of Holies, not in the Outer Court or the Inner Court.
In the same way with all of us, the Outer Court of the Temple represents our physical bodies, the Inner Court represents our soul, and the Holy of Holies represents our spirits.
Just as the manifest presence of God was only residing in the Holy of Holies, in the same way the Holy Spirit is only residing in our human spirits, which is the innermost part of our beings, just like the Holy of Holies was the innermost part of the Jewish Temple.
The Bible also tells us that our bodies are now the temple of the Holy Spirit. Some people believe that the word “bodies” means that the Holy Spirit is actually living in the human body itself. But if you use this Jewish Temple analogy, which I believe is analogous to our human-spiritual makeup with the Lord, I believe that our physical bodies are now His temple due to the fact that our physical bodies now actually “house” our human spirits where the Holy Spirit now lives in – just like the Outer and Inner Courts “housed” the Holy of Holies where the manifest presence of God was really at.
This big debate on whether or not a Christian can have a demon living on the inside of them has been going on forever in the Body of Christ and obviously will never be resolved anytime soon until Jesus comes back down for His millennial rule and He then finally lets all of us know who had the correct interpretation on all of this. But until then, each Christian will just have to make their own call on all of this.
After studying all of this at length over the years, it is just my own personal opinion that these deliverance ministers are correct in their assessment in that demons can enter into Christians if the appropriate legal rights have been given to them to be able to enter in. And this will now lead us right into the next topic of debate – the issue of legal rights.
2. The Legal Rights Issue
The 2nd big area of debate you will find as you start to research this topic is on the legal rights issue.
Many people argue that nowhere in the Bible does Jesus or the apostles talk about any kinds of legal rights that demons may have to attack us. Jesus just tells us to cast out demons, and they thus believe that you just go in there and take your authority and start commanding the demons to come out and leave the person without trying to find out what their legal rights may have been to be able to attack this person in the first place.
Again, our take on this is that Jesus tells us to cast out demons, but He does not tell us exactly how to do it. And again, this is where you fall back on the verse that it is the job of the Holy Spirit Himself to be our Teacher and Guide in this life. And one of the areas that I believe that the Holy Spirit will help teach us and guide us is in the area of having to deal directly with demons who are attacking people.
I remember when I first saw this big debate occurring as I started to research this topic years ago, that my common sense really kicked in.
The Bible tells us in the story of Job that we all have some kind of a basic protective hedge surrounding us. If we did not have some kind of basic protective hedge surrounding us with the Lord, then these demons would be attacking all of us non-stop, 24/7. We would all be under constant attack and we would be doing nothing but battling demons all of the time.
If we really do have some type of protective hedge from the Lord surrounding us and protecting us, and then someone manages to have demons abnormally attacking them – then my conclusion is – that there has to be some type of specific reason that this has been allowed to occur with these demons – and that specific reason will be their legal right.
For instance, if a Christian decides they are going to start doing drugs like cocaine, heroin, or meth, they then will have committed a direct willful sin against the Lord.
And if God decides to sovereignly allow their basic hedge to break down because of this direct willful sin against Him, then the demons will be able to see that big hole occur in their protective hedge and they will then waste no time in barreling right through that hole to launch an all-out attack on that person and his life.
The door opener for the demons to be able to come directly after that person in the first place was them engaging with drugs that are directly forbidden by the Lord. That door opening activity has now given the demons full legal right to be able to come directly after that person with a severe type of an attack.
In order to be able to set that person completely free from the demons who are now attacking them, you first have to deal directly with the door-opening activity of them engaging with the drugs in the first place.
The way you do this is that the person first has to be willing to confess their drug usage out as direct sin against the Lord, and then they have to be willing to fully repent of it and renounce it, telling God that they will never, ever do it again.
If the person is willing to both confess this sin out and then fully renounce it before the Lord, then the legal right that the demons had in the first place has now been fully removed and taken care of before the Lord, and they will now have to leave this person once you start to directly engage with them.
But if the person is not willing to give up their drugs or if they do not believe it is an actual sin before the Lord, then you will not be able to cast those demons out of this person, and the person will then continue to remain under heavy attack from these demons until they can see the real the truth on this matter.
Deliverance ministers who do this on a very regular basis have found out through real live actual deliverances, that if you do not take care of and remove the legal rights that the demons are operating on, then they will not leave once you start trying to cast them out.
These demons know how the real game is played, and as long as their legal rights are still firmly and solidly in place, they know they do not have to leave the person once someone starts to try and cast them out with basic types of command words. But get their legal rights properly taken care of and broken with the Lord, and then you will be able to cast them out of a person very easily.
Again, when I first studied this debate, my common sense just told me that there are reasons for most everything. And if demons are abnormally attacking someone, then there has to be a specific reason for it.
Just find out what that specific reason is, which will be their legal right, get it properly taken care of and broken with the Lord, and then you will be able to cast the demons off that person with no problems.
I know this debate will be like many of the other debates that the Body of Christ has to deal with. We will just have to wait for Jesus to come back down to us before we will find out who was correct on all of this.
But for the record, when God started to bring these types of cases my way – on most of them He always had me to deal with what the legal rights were that allowed the demons to be attacking these people in the first place.
And then once I found out what those legal rights were and then got them properly taken care of and broken before Him, then the demons came off the person very quickly once I started to directly engage with them.
I thus have to side with all of the good deliverance ministers I have studied from over the years. I fully agree with most of their thoughts, their conclusions, and their findings in the actual fields of combat.
For the record, here are the 7 best books on deliverance I have read to date. And every single one of these men and women have found out that breaking the legal rights of the demons is the best way to go in being able to successfully cast them out of a person.

The first book listed from Don Dickerman is a new book that has just come out. This man is a Baptist minister who was raised up in a very legalistic environment. God broke him free from all of his legalism and showed him many fascinating truths on this part of our walk with the Lord.
These 7 books are absolutely the best of the best and I cannot recommend each one of them highly enough if you would like to learn the real nuts and bolts on how true deliverances are actually done in the Lord.
We also want to add that in many of the demon cases that have come our way, many of these people have tried to get delivered from other people who were not going directly after the legal rights of the demons.
And then once they came to our site and we showed them how to go directly after the legal rights that the demons were operating on, then they were able to get set free from their demons very quickly.
Again, our own personal experiences in this area have perfectly matched up with the experiences of the men who have written the above 7 books.
Basic General Rules to Follow
This deliverance system should be looked upon as a rough, basic outline. Once you start doing deliverances with demons, you will find out very quickly that there are two basic rules that you will have to abide by with the Lord:
- Realize that no two cases will ever be alike.
- And that you have to be totally guided by the Holy Spirit on each one, as sometimes there will be some very interesting twists and turns that will occur in some of these cases.
The basic outline I will give you below will give you a very good way to start so you can get your feet wet with all of this. This system will probably work on most of the demon cases that God will bring your way.
But just realize that there are harder types of cases out there, and that you will really need to be guided by the Holy Spirit if any of those harder types of cases ever come your way.
Before I get into the main steps on doing an inside deliverance, here are 11 basic general rules that you will need to abide by with the Lord before setting someone up for an actual deliverance with the Lord.
1. Make Sure Your Slate is Fairly Clean
If you are the one who is going to be casting the demons out of someone, then the first thing you will need to be aware of is your own personal slate with the Lord. God is not looking for absolute total perfection from you.
But if by chance you have any type of heavier unconfessed sin in your life that you are still engaging in, and you still have not got it properly taken care of with the Lord through confession and repentance, then you may have to step back and let someone else do the deliverance.
If you don’t, here is what could happen to you. If for example you are out committing adultery behind your wife’s back and no one knows about it but you and God, then what could happen right in the middle of an actual deliverance is that the demons will be able to say exactly what your sin is out loud right through the person’s mouth where everyone in the room will be able to hear it – both fully exposing you and embarrassing you right in front of everyone who will be in the room with you.
There have been documented cases of this actually happening. And when it does happen, many of the times the person trying to do the deliverance is so shaken up and so embarrassed by what the demons have just told everyone, that they then have to turn the reigns over to someone else to finish out the deliverance.
So if by chance you have any type of heavier unconfessed sin still lingering on you and you are still engaging in, and you have not gone before God the Father to get it properly taken care of through confession and repentance, then it would be my strong recommendation that you not be the one to try and do the deliverance. Let someone else who has a cleaner slate than you be the one to try and do it.
And again, I am not talking about total perfection. We all have our rough edges that need to be smoothed out by the Holy Spirit. What I am talking about are the heavier types of sins where you would not want them to be fully exposed by the demons right in the middle of an actual deliverance.
Heavier sins such as adultery, using any type of drugs, doing any kinds of shady dealings or activities on your current job where you know you are pushing the envelope with the Lord, being addicted to internet pornography, and any kind of dysfunctional activity going on in your own household which you know is wrong in the eyes of the Lord – all of these types of heavier unconfessed sins could get you into major trouble right in the middle of an actual deliverance with these demons.
If by chance the demons try to bring up any past sins, but you have already confessed those sins out to the Lord earlier on and have been fully forgiven, just command the demons to shut up and be quiet, and that they have no right to bring those sins back up since they have already been fully forgiven under the blood of Jesus.
2. Make Sure You Are Walking in a Full Surrender With the Lord
Only saved and born again Christians can cast demons out of people. The Bible says that demons are cast out by the Word of God and by the power of the Holy Spirit, and only born-again Christians have the Word of God and the Holy Spirit in them.
Nonbelievers do not have the Word of God or the Holy Spirit in them, and they thus do not have the power or authority from God to be able to cast demons out of anyone.
And if by chance they are doing it, the demons are just tricking and duping them. The demons may leave for a short period of time to dupe the nonbeliever, but they will then enter back into the person they have just left, and the person will then be no better off than what they were before the nonbeliever tried to cast them out.
However, as a born-again believer, there is now one more thing that you must be willing to do before you can successfully engage with Satan and his demons. You must also be walking in a full surrender with the Lord. You must be both saved and fully surrendered with the Lord in order to be able to cast demons out of people. This revelation is coming direct from the following verse:
“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee.” (James 4:7)
Notice the very first sentence – “Therefore submit to God.” Submitting to God means that you are walking in this full surrender where Jesus is now both your personal Savior and your personal Lord. Making Jesus the Lord over your life means that He will now be the One to control the direction your life will now take.

This article will give you all of the main verses from the Bible showing that we also have to make Jesus the Lord of our lives where He will now be the One who will fully guide us in this life through His Holy Spirit.
Also in this article is a very good full surrender prayer that you can do with the Lord that will get you into this full surrender with Him if you have never done this before with Him.
3. Be Led by the Lord as to Which Cases to Take On
If you feel that your slate is now clean enough to take on these kinds of heavier assignments with the Lord, then the next step is to pray to God to see if He will want you to take on the individual cases that will start to come your way. Do not assume that you can take on any demon case that may come your way. You have to choose your battles very wisely and very carefully in this realm.
Bottom line – God the Father is our Commander-in-Chief and He will be the One to decide which demon cases we are to take on and which ones we are to let go.
Here are some of the reasons as to why God may not want you to take on a particular demon case that may have just come your way:
a) The person may not want to be really delivered from their demons. The demons have been in them for so long, that they actually like the activity levels and stimulation they are receiving from these demons, even though it is all negative and evil.
b) The person may not want to give up the legal rights that the demons are operating on. For instance, someone may have demons in them as a result of engaging with internet pornography. They are not willing at this time to give up their pornography. So until they are ready to give it up, confess it out as a sin before the Lord, and then be willing to renounce it, the demons will still have the legal rights to be able to stay attached to that person and any kind of a deliverance attempt will just be a complete waste of time.
c) The person may not want the demons out because they like all of the pity and sympathy they have been receiving from others over the years. They would prefer to continue to wallow in their self-pity rather than have the Lord really deliver them.
d) The timing may not be right. God may be dealing with some personal issues with that person and you will have to wait for God to give you the green light before you attempt to cast the demons out. There may be some things that God may have to straighten out or deal with before He will be willing to deliver this person.
e) The person may be a nonbeliever and he may not be willing to accept Jesus Christ as his true Lord and Savior. A person cannot get delivered from their demons unless they are willing to get saved and born again through Jesus Christ.
These are just some of the reasons as to why God may not want you to take on a particular case. I never take on a demon case unless I have a solid green light from the Lord to be doing so. You are stepping out on a real, live, major battlefield when you directly engage with demonic spirits, and unless you have God’s direct permission and authority to be stepping out on this kind of battlefield, you could get yourself seriously hurt, as these demons are much stronger and much more intelligent than we are.
4. The Deliverance Team
If you can, make sure the deliverance team consists of at least two or more people, with one person taking the basic lead to directly engage with the demons.
If you are a man and you are are getting ready to to deliver a woman, then make sure that your assistant is a woman.
The reason being is that there have been documented cases where the demons have made the woman cry rape when none has ever occurred. It is much better to be safe than sorry on this kind of a possibility, so have at least one of your assistants, if at all possible, be a woman. You don’t want any type of false accusations or misrepresentations occurring in this type of a private setting.
When Jesus sent out the apostles to walk with His anointing to heal the sick and to cast out demons, He always sent them out two by two. I know in some cases you may get stuck doing the deliverance all by yourself. This has happened to many deliverance ministers.
If that is how God has arranged for this deliverance to occur for whatever reason, then just go with Him on it. But on a normal type setting, it is always best to have at least one other person to help you do this, and possibly up to 5 or 6 depending on what kind of case you are dealing with.
If you are dealing with a man and he has very violent type demons in him, you may want to have 4 or 5 stronger men with you to help hold him down if they should try and get violent with you.
But we will show you how, in the battle commands below, how to keep this kind of violent activity from ever really occurring, as you can simply command and order the demons not to violently manifest inside the person once you start up the deliverance.
It would also be our strong recommendation that if you know of any good strong intercessors with the Lord, to contact them before you start and tell them what you are dealing with on your end, and then have them pray and intercede for you as you get ready to take on your case.
And they can all do this direct from their homes with the Lord. They do not have to be with you where the actual deliverance will take place at.
5. The Setting For the Deliverance
Be led by the Lord as to where He will want the deliverance to take place. It can take place in a church, in your home, in the demonized person’s home, or in your office if you have that kind of private space available.
Also make sure to have a box of tissues, a waste bucket, and a dry towel nearby for the person. Sometimes the person may start crying if they have to relive certain painful events from their past. You will need a box of tissues just in case the person will start crying.
You will also want the waste bucket nearby in case the demons leave out of the person’s mouth. Sometimes the person can literally vomit as the demons are being expelled out of them.
Most of the times this will not happen, but sometimes it does. So it would be wise to have this nearby just in case this kind of a manifestation does occur at the moment they are being cast out of the person.
You may also want to have some water and snacks available if you think the deliverance may take some time to get fully accomplished. Don’t be afraid to take some breaks from time to time so every one can rest and recharge their batteries. This kind of work can be draining, so do not be afraid to take some timeouts when you think they will be needed.
Also make sure there is a restroom available for everyone and make sure that you watch the person who is being delivered when they have to use the restroom if you think the demons may try and act up with them.
There have been documented cases where the host will try and lock themselves in the restroom since the demons will try and act up and stop the deliverance from going any further. Just have someone of the same sex stand guard outside the restroom door so the person does not try and hurt themselves or lock the door on all of you.
6. Prepare the Person For What May Take Place
The next thing you will need to do is to properly prepare the person for what could take place once you start up the actual deliverance process. Tell them that the demons may talk to them on the inside.
If they do, tell the person to tell you what they are saying to them so you can see if there is anything specific the Lord will want you to do with it. You will want the person to be an active and willing participant in this process, not a passive robot.
Also tell them that the demons may try and manifest in different parts of their bodies during parts of the deliverance. If they do, tell them to try and fight and resist it using their own natural will power.
Tell them they can use their own measure of self-control and will power against these demons. Most of the times, the person’s own self control and will power will be enough to stop the demons from manifesting to any appreciable degree.
You will also be commanding the demons yourself not to manifest or cause any kind of a commotion or disturbance once you start up the deliverance.
Advise the person that some of the manifestations that could occur is that they could feel a tightness in their stomach area, nausea, tingling sensations, eyes fluttering, headaches, and possible burning sensations in various parts of the body.
If by chance any of these manifestations start to occur in the deliverance, tell the person there is nothing to worry about and for them not to be afraid.
The demons are manifesting because they are now scared, and they know they are about ready to lose the house they have been living in all of this time.
7. Don’t Stand To Close to the Person Once You Start Engaging With the Demons
I have see some deliverance ministers get right up into the face of the person they are trying to deliver. But it would be our recommendation that you keep a safe and reasonable distance between you and the demonized person.
The reason being is that there have been documented cases of the demonized person lashing out with a kick to the groin or ribs, or a punch or scratch to the face. Jaws and ribs have been bruised and broken because the minister got to close to the person once they started to engage with the demons.
So again, it is much better that you use good common sense so that this possibility does not ever occur. Better to be safe than sorry, as you do not want to have to deal with the repercussions of an actual physical injury.
You also do not have to get into someone’s face to flaunt the authority that you already have in Jesus.
However, if during any part of the deliverance you do feel a strong leading from the Holy Spirit to lay hands on the person, especially at the part where you are commanding the demons to leave, then by all means go ahead and do it. But it would be our recommendation to only lay hands on the person if the Holy Spirit tells you to do it, as we feel it would be better to error on the side of safety on this issue.
Once you have established the distance you will want to work at, then you can look directly into the eyes of the demonized person.
The demons will not like the light of Jesus that you will have coming out of your eyes. The person may try and look away, but if at all possible, try to have them to maintain proper eye contact with you through most of the actual deliverance if they possibly can.
It would also be our recommendation not to start screaming and going into a verbally abusive tirade once you start to directly engage with the demons. Some people like to try and put on a show, and they will then start jumping up and down and screaming at the top of their lungs at the demons.
You do not have to try and put on a show for either yourself, the host, or the demons. If you know who you really are in Jesus, then so will the demons. You can directly engage with the demons by using a nice, firm, authoritative tone with them.
There could also be some heated moments that could occur where you will feel the Holy Spirit really rise up in you and raise up the tone and intensity of your voice, especially when you get to the part of the deliverance where you are starting to directly cast the demons out of the person. But again, even the Holy Spirit will control the wrath and anger that He may start to manifest against the demons.
If you studied how Jesus cast out demons in the Bible, you can tell by the way that He was directly engaging with them, that He did it with a very firm and authoritative tone of voice. You don’t get the picture that He was screaming at the top of His lungs or acting like a crazy person.
You also don’t want to scare and intimidate the host himself with a lot of useless screaming and yelling. Just calmly, and with great force, authority, and conviction, take these demons head on, as you already have the authority and anointing direct from Jesus Himself to be able to take on and cast these demons out of a person.
8. Do Not Try and Cast Out Alters
If by chance the person you are working with has had severe abuse and trauma in their backgrounds, and part of the core of their personality has split off into several different alters in order to help them survive all of their past abuse, DO NOT try and cast out these alters like you will be doing with the demons.
After the person has been fully delivered from the demons, God will then have to merge and integrate the alters back into the core of the person’s real personality. This will all be done through a process of inner healing by the Lord that will gradually take place after the deliverance has been fully completed.
If you try and cast out those alters like you will be doing with the demons, you could cause serious damage to the person’s psyche, as these alters have been God’s way of allowing the core of that person’s personality to remain intact, and to be able to withstand the more extreme type of abuse and trauma they have had to endure over the years.
If you try and cast out those alters, you could further damage and fragment the core personality even more.
When the core personality splits off and fragments into these different alters, this is actually a self-defense type mechanism that God has placed into our systems so we can withstand some of the more brutal and violent types of abuse that can be inflicted upon us.
Just like if you took a hammer and started to hit you arm. Pretty soon after a repeated number of blows, the bones in your arm will give way and break and fragment.
In the same way, when a human personality has been going through severe trauma and abuse over a long period of time, the human personality can only take so much before it will break and split off into several different personalities, which are known as alters.
Another way to look at this is that the person will “disassociate” once they start to go through any type of severe trauma and abuse.
This disassociation will create a new personality, and this new personality will then be the one that will deal with the pain they are going through. This way the core of the person gets somewhat protected from all of the abuse that is being inflicted upon them.
So again, do not try and cast out alters if you ever come across this phenomena inside of a person. After the deliverance is over, just pray to God that He start the inner healing process with this person, and ask Him to merge and integrate all of the alters back into the core of the person’s personality over the time frame that He will want to do it in.
9. Holy Water and Anointed Oil
On some of the more heavier cases, you can also use both holy water and anointed oil. The demons hate both of these and sometimes they will scream out that they are being burned and tormented once the oil and/or water is placed on the body of the demonized person.
Holy water can also be used by sprinkling it around the house in which the person is living in, as you will also want to drive the demons out of their houses as well as their bodies.
In reference to being able to use anointed oil on the demonized person, the Bible tells us that we can anoint someone with oil if they are sick. And someone who has demons living on the inside of them is definitely in a sick condition. Here is the verse that will tell us that we can anoint someone with oil if they are sick:
“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.” (James 5:14)
Again, be led by the Holy Spirit as to when He will want you to use one or both of these in any given deliverance.
10. Fasting
In Matthew 17:21, Jesus tells the apostles that the demon the apostles were trying to cast out would only come out by “prayer and fasting.” As a result of what Jesus told the apostles on this one situation, this means that sometimes God will be asking you to fast right before you take on a heavier type case. Just be led by the Holy Spirit as to when to fast and when not to fast.
You do not want to get into legalism thinking that you have to fast on every single demon case that ever comes your way. The apostles were apparently casting out other demons without having to fast, so again, just be led and guided by the Holy Spirit as to which cases He will want you to fast on.
But just realize that this is a very powerful option and strategy that you can use, especially on a heavier inside type of case like what the apostles were apparently dealing with when Jesus told them that this kind of demon will only come out by prayer and fasting.
11. Duration of the Deliverance
If the demons cannot be cast out on the first session, then schedule another session at everyone’s convenience. Also, when the host leaves from this first session, make sure that you issue a strong battle command to the demons not to hurt or harm them during the interim between the two sessions.
Also be cognizant of how long you are working on each of these sessions. When you get to the point of everyone is starting to get tired, you are better off ending the session and picking it back up on the second session, as you can easily lose your focus and concentration once you start to get too tired and weary.
The Deliverance System
There are 8 basic, strong steps on being able to deliver people who have demons living and operating on the inside of their bodies. Here are the 8 steps in a bold, numbered format so you can have all of them right at the top of this section. I will then go into each step in the captions below so you can see exactly what you will have to do in each one of these steps.
- Saved and Born Again
- The Full Surrender
- The Rite of Water Baptism
- Break All of the Legal Rights of the Demons
- Pray to the Lord Before Engaging With the Demons
- Dry Up the Waters of the Enemy
- Tear Down the Inner Kingdom of the Enemy
- Bind the Lesser Demons to the Chief Demon and Cast Them All Out as One Spirit
This system should cover most of the demon cases that will ever come your way, but you will still need to be fully guided by the Holy Spirit in some of these steps as I will explain below.
Where you will really need the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit will be on step 4, where you will try and determine what all of the legal rights are that the demons have been operating on. This step is the heart of this system, and this is where the battle will either be won or lost with the demons.
Bottom line – find out what all of the legal rights are that the demons are feeding and operating on, get them properly taken care of and broken with the Lord, and then the rest of the steps will be very easy to complete – as the demons will then have nothing left to be able to hold onto and they will then be very easy to cast out of the person with the strong wording I will give you below.
1. Saved and Born Again
Whenever a demon case first comes your way, the very first thing you will have to look at is whether or not this person is a Christian. If this person is not a Christian, then you will have to lead them into a true salvation experience with the Lord before you could even begin to try and deliver them from their demons.
Deliverance from demons is only for Christians or for people who are willing to become Christians. If the person is not willing to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, then you will have to let it go until they are ready to do so.

“The Basics of Eternal Salvation Through Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
Once the person has truly received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, then they will be ready for the next step.
2. The Full Surrender
After the person has received a true salvation experience with the Lord, then the next step they will need to take is to be willing to make a full and complete surrender of both themselves and their entire lives over to the Lord. They have now just made Jesus Christ their personal Savior, but they must also now make Him their personal Lord.
Making Jesus Christ their personal Lord means they will be willing to completely turn the reigns of their lives over to Him so He can then start to lead them down the divine path and plan that He has already set up for their lives. The reason this particular step is so important in spiritual warfare is due to the following verse:
“Therefore submit God. Resist the devil and he will flee.” (James 4:7)
Notice the very first sentence – “Therefore submit to God.” Submitting to God means that you have to be in this full surrender with the Lord where He will now be the One to handle and control the direction that your life will now be taking from here on in. And if you are not operating in this full surrender with the Lord, then you will not be very successful in being able to resist the devil and his demons when they do move in for an attack on both you and your life.

Also in this article is a very good full surrender prayer they can use with the Lord that will get them into this full surrender with Him.
They will have to get both saved and fully surrendered with the Lord before you can start the deliverance process with them. Here is the full surrender prayer from our article they will need to say before the Lord so He will know they are really serious in making this kind of all-or-nothing commitment to Him
“Father,
In the name of Jesus, I am now willing to place my body, my soul, my spirit, and my entire life into Your hands. I now ask that You place me into Your perfect will for my life. From this moment on, I will choose to stay fully surrendered to You all the days of my life and will allow You to lead and direct my life in the direction that You will want it to go in.
Thank You Father.
Thank You Jesus.
Thank You Holy Spirit.”
If the person is already a Christian, but they have never made this kind of a full surrender to the Lord, then again, have them read the above article and then have them make that full surrender to the Lord using this kind of full surrender prayer.
3. The Rite of Water Baptism
If at all possible, have the person go through the rite of water baptism if they have never done it before. If you can do it at the time you get the person saved, that would be great and that would be our first recommendation. But if by chance you have to do it at a later date, then try and arrange for it to be done before you actually try to do the deliverance.
The reason I say this is because there have been documented cases of demons being completely expelled out of a person once they go through the rite of water baptism. Demons hate the rite of water baptism and there is always the chance the person could receive a full scale deliverance from their demons if you have them go through this rite before you even attempt the actual deliverance.
If all of the demons can be cast out of the person just by going through this holy rite, then you will not have to go through with the rest of the deliverance, and you can then save both yourself and the demonized person from having to go through the intensity of an actual deliverance.
Here is the link to our article titled, “The Rite of Water Baptism.” In this article are all of the major verses on why Jesus wants all of us to do this rite as part of the salvation experience with Him.
If by chance this person is already a Christian and for whatever reason they have never been through this rite – again – it would be our strong recommendation that you have them do it before attempting to do the actual deliverance, as they too may have their demons fully expelled out of them just by going through this very powerful rite.
4. Break All of the Legal Rights of the Demons
Once someone is saved, fully surrendered to the Lord, and has gone through the rite of water baptism, then they will be ready to go into the actual deliverance process itself. And this will now take us right into the real heart and most important part of this process – how those demons were able to get on the inside of that person in the first place.
As we have said in the above introduction to this article, we fully believe in the legal rights theory that so many good deliverance ministers use in their deliverance ministries.
I believe there are reasons for most everything since our God is a God of perfect order and reasoning. And when demons have attached to someone, whether it be on the inside of that person or on the outside of that person, there has to be a specific reason as to why those demons were able to attach to that person in the first place.
Bottom line – the battle will either be won or lost on this specific step. Find out what the specific reason is that allowed these demons to attach to this person in the first place, and you will then find out what all of their legal rights are. And then once you find out what all of their legal rights are, then get them properly taken care of and broken before the Lord.
And once all of the legal rights of the demons have been properly taken care of and broken before the Lord, then they will have absolutely nothing else left to be able to hold onto, and they will then be much easier to cast out of the person once you start to directly engage with them.
Due to the extreme importance of just this one step and all of the different kinds of legal rights that demons can use against us, we have created another article in our site titled, “Dealing With the Legal Rights of Demons.”
We ask that you go to this article when you are ready and take your time to read and study from it. This article will cover many of the basic legal rights that demons will try and use against us. In this article I discuss what some of those basic legal rights are so you will know exactly what to look for when interviewing the demonized person.
5. Pray to the Lord Before Engaging With the Demons
Once you have all of the legal rights that the demons have been operating on properly taken care of and broken before the Lord, then you will now be ready to start to directly engage with the demons so you can finally cast all of them out of the person once and for all.
However, before you get ready to directly engage with the demons, you will now need to do one more very important thing – and that is to pray direct to the Lord for His protection and His power so you will then be able to drive these demons out of this person for good.
Even though we now have God’s direct power and authority to be able to cast out demons, I still feel we should approach the Lord in a direct prayer, asking Him to anoint us with His power for the battle, along with asking Him to move full force against these demons as a Man of War, since demons are cast out of a person by His Word and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
At the end of this prayer, you will also be speaking out direct to the demons themselves, telling them that they are not to interfere with the deliverance process in any way once you start it up. You will also be binding them up so they cannot attack you or the demonized person in any way, shape, or form. This way you will be able to keep any type of violent attacks from ever coming your way.
You will also be forbidding the demons to try and communicate to any other spirits who are on the outside of them, as sometimes these demons are taking orders direct from higher-ranking spirits who are on the outside of the person’s body.
Here is a good sample type of prayer you can use with the Lord. This is just how I would word it. But feel free to add anything else in it that you feel would apply to the specific situation that you are dealing with on your end.
It would also be our recommendation that you read all of this prayer out loud in front of the demonized person so the demons will hear you loud and clear. You are now getting ready to go to war with these demons, and you will now be letting them know, in no uncertain terms, that God the Father is now getting ready to cast all of them out of this person through His Word and by the power of His Holy Spirit.
For the purposes of this sample prayer, I will name the demonized person as being John, and the legal rights these demons had to be able to attack him was him getting involved with the occult.
But if by chance your case has more than one legal right, just state all of them out one by one to the demons, telling them that all of their legal rights have now been properly taken care of and broken before the Lord, as all of their legal rights would have been properly taken care of and broken with the Lord in step 4 above.
When doing your own case, just simply adjust the wording to fit the specific set of facts that you are dealing with on your end.
“Father,
In the name of Jesus Christ, I now come before You to take on the demons who are now living and operating in John. Father, these demons have now been in John long enough. He has had enough of their torment and bondage and he is now ready to be set fully free from these foul and evil spirits.
Father, in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, I now ask that You personally anoint me for this battle. Father, in Your Word you have told us that we will have Your power and Your authority to be able to trample over all of the power of the enemy and that nothing shall be able to hurt us.
You have told us in Your Word that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. You have told us in Your Word that we shall cast out demons in Your name. You have told us in Your Word that You are a Man of War and that You can be stirred up to go into battle for us.
Father, I now ask that You stir Yourself up as a Man of War and that you personally take on these demons and drive them right out of this man and right out of his life for good – never again to return to bother, harass, or torment him – ever again!
Father, I now ask that You shine Your holy light into every part of John’s being and every part of John’s life so we can see exactly what these demons have been up to with him so we will know how to fully handle this situation with him.
Father, fully expose these demons for what they really are – defeated, fallen angels who fell from Your mercy, love, and grace up in heaven.
Father, shed Your holy light on these demons so they cannot run or hide from this deliverance. Father, show us any additional legal rights during this deliverance that we may not have uncovered earlier on so we will know exactly what we will have to take care of with You.
Father, You have said in Your Word that the Sword of the Holy Spirit is Your Word. Father, in the name of Jesus, I now ask that You let Your Word be my Sword. Father, I repeat, let Your Word be my Sword so that these demons can now be fully driven out of John once and for all.
Father, I now ask that You fully arm me for this battle. I now take up and put on my helmet of salvation, my shield of faith, my breastplate of righteousness, and my Sword of the Holy Spirit so I can now fully operate under Your full anointing against these demons so You can drive and cast all of them out of John once and for all. Father, I now ask that You allow Your full spiritual armor to be put on me right now in the name of Jesus so I can now do battle against these demons who are on the inside of John.
Father, these demons have now been in John long enough. Father, I now ask that You declare ALL OUT WAR against these demons. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we now ask that You move FULL FORCE against these demons as a mighty Man of War so John can be set fully free from these demons, once and for all.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I now plead the blood of Your Son Jesus Christ over every inch of my body, over every inch of my soul, and over every inch of my spirit so I can now have a full protective covering against these demons.
I now ask that You station your battle angels all around me so they can protect both myself, John, and everyone else who is in this room so no harm will come to any of us during this entire deliverance.
Father, I also ask that You allow the blood of Your Son Jesus to fully protect myself, John, and the rest of the people who are in this room from any of these demons being able to attack any of our personal possessions such as our houses, our cars, our families, our finances, and our health. Father, I ask that You fully protect all of us from any type of vengeful act from any of these demons after You have fully cast all of them out of John.
Demons, I am now coming against each and everyone of you in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I repeat, I am now coming against each and everyone of you operating under the full power, the full authority, and the full anointing of God the Father.
Demons, the Word of my God tells me in Luke 10:19 that my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has now given me the full authority to be able trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and that nothing shall by any means hurt me.
Demons, the serpents and scorpions that Jesus is talking about in this verse is all of you, and I thus have my Lord’s direct authority and power to be able to cast all of you out of John once and for all.
Demons, Jesus has told us in Luke 9:1 that He has given His disciples “power and authority over all demons,” which includes all of you who are on the inside of John. As a true disciple of Jesus Christ, I now have His direct full authority and His direct full power to be able to cast all of you out of John once and for all.
Demons, the Word of God also tells us in Exodus 15:3 and Isaiah 42:13 that my God is a “Man of War” and that He shall “go forth like a mighty Man,” that He shall “stir up His zeal like a Man of War” and “that He shall prevail against His enemies.”
Demons, every single one of you is a direct enemy of the Lord and He will now be moving against each and everyone of you. God the Father will now totally prevail against all of you. You are no match for His strength and His power.
I repeat, the Lord of Hosts will now be moving against each and every one of you right now as a mighty Man of War and you will have absolutely no chance against His wrath, against His fury, and against His power. Demons, you are now all done and you are now all finished. Your show and your time with this man is now all over.
Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, I now bind up each and everyone of you right now so you cannot attack or harm either John, myself, or anyone else who is in this room. I repeat, I bind up each and every one of you right now in the name of Jesus Christ so you cannot harm either John, myself, and the rest of the people who are in this room.
You are to stand down and completely back off him, and you are not to engage with either John or myself in any way, shape, or form. You are not to move an inch, say a word, or harm a hair on this man’s head during this entire deliverance.
Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, I am now raising up my shield of faith against each and every one of you. This shield of faith from my Lord and Savior is now forming an invisible and impenetrable shield between you and us.
You will not be able to cross this shield in any way, shape, or form. Both myself and every single person who is in this room is now being fully protected by the Lord with this shield of faith. Every single one of you is now fully bound up and completely shut down – all in the name of Jesus Christ.
To every single demon who is on the inside of John, in the name of Jesus Christ, you are not to run, hide, or attempt any kind of communication to any other spirits who are on the outside of John. You are not to seek out any kind of help or reinforcement from any outside spirits whatsoever in the name of Jesus Christ.
All of your lifelines and all of your cords to any of these outside spirits has now been completely cut and completely severed – all in the name of Jesus Christ. The Word of God tells us that God the Father will “cut in pieces the cords of the wicked” (Psalm 129:2). All of your cords to these outside spirits have now been completely cut, completely severed, and completely cast off, all by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If there are any demonic spirits who are in this room, but not on the inside of John, I now command you, in the name of Jesus Christ, to leave this room and to leave this building and do not come back to this place ever again. GO NOW, in the name of Jesus Christ.
To the demons who are on the inside of John, you are now all bound up together to the head, chief demon and you are now all fully paralyzed.
You cannot move an inch, say a word, or harm a hair on this man’s head or anyone else who is in this room.
Demons, there will be no manifestations whatsoever from this point on. You will not attempt any type of violence. You will not attempt any type of vomiting or distracting type of behavior. You are now all shut down and completely bound up by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, I also forbid you to try and communicate with one another on the inside of John. To each and everyone of you, you are not to talk to or try to get any help whatsoever from any other spirits who are on the inside of John.
All of your communication lines are now totally and completely cut and severed by the power of the Holy Spirit so none of you can communicate in any way, shape, or form with one another. I forbid the head, chief demon from being able to communicate with any of his underlings, and I forbid any of the underlings from being able to communicate with the head, chief demon.
Demons, we now know what all of your legal rights have been with this man over the time that you have been in him. John, not knowing any better, foolishly started to dabble in the occult. But he now knows that what he has done was a direct sin against the Lord and that He was breaking some of God’s basic commandments on us not having anything to do with the occult.
But John has now fully confessed, fully repented, and fully renounced all of his activities in the occult before God the Father. The blood of Jesus Christ has now fully washed away all of John’s transgressions against the Lord and He has now been fully forgiven and fully washed clean by the blood of Jesus.
Demons, as a result of this man’s transgressions being fully confessed out and fully forgiven by the Lord, you no longer have any more legal rights in which to stay attached to this man.
I repeat, in the name of Jesus Christ, you no longer have any more legal rights to stay attached to this man, as all of your legal rights have now been fully broken and fully severed as a result of his full confession and full repentance before God the Father.
Each and everyone of you will now have to leave him in the name of Jesus Christ. I repeat, each and everyone of you will now have to leave this man in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
You have now set the stage for being able to drive these demons out of John once and for all. You will now be going full force against these demons in the next three captions I will now give you.
As I said above, if there is more than one legal right involved on your case, just state all of them out one by one in the above prayer, telling the demons that each and every one of their legal rights has now been properly taken care of and broken with the Lord.
All of their legal rights would have already been properly taken care of and broken with the Lord in step 4. Now you are just telling the demons straight to their faces that you know what all of their legal rights have been, that they have now all been fully broken before the Lord, and that they will now have absolutely nothing else left to be able to hold onto.
6. Dry Up The Waters of the Enemy
Here is another very powerful strategy that you can use against the demons when you are in the last part of the deliverance and you are getting ready to start commanding them to now leave this person in the name of Jesus Christ.
This next strategy on drying up their waters is also going to drive home the point and reinforce the fact to these demons that all of their legal rights have now been fully broken before the Lord and that there is now nothing else left for them to be able to hold onto.
When you start using these types of additional strategies against the demons, this will show them that you know what you are doing, that you know how the real game is played in the spiritual realm, and that you will now be coming directly after them and the inner kingdom they have set up on the inside of this person over the number of years they have been in him.
There are several very interesting verses that will show us that we can also use this additional strategy on drying up the waters of the demons once we start to directly engage with them, telling them that they now have to leave this person in the name of Jesus Christ.
Waters are very important to both God and the demons in the spiritual realm. In reference to the Holy Spirit, Jesus tells us in John 7:38 that out of our heart will flow rivers of living water.And the Word of God itself is compared to water in Ephesians 5:26, where it says that “with the washing of water by the word.”
In the same way, demons are also looking for water in which to feed from and drink from in the spiritual realm. The verse that gives us this key piece of revelation is found in Matthew 12:43. This verse says that when demons leave a person they had been in, they go through “dry places” and “seeking rest,” they find “none.” Here is the direct verse:
“When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order.” (Matthew 12:43)
Notice these demons are not finding rest in the dry places they are going through after they had just left a person. If they are not finding rest in those dry places, then that tells you they do not like dry places. And if they do not like dry places, then that tells you they like places that will give them some kind of water.
And once they enter into a person because of the appropriate legal rights being given to them, then they will start to feed and drink from the water that is on the inside of the person. And what is the water they are drinking from on the inside of that person? It is the legal rights that allowed them entrance into this person in the first place.
That is why once you break all of their legal rights, you will dry up all of their waters. And once you dry up all of their waters, you will severely weaken them and they will have nothing else left to be able to feed from and drink from.
Weaken the demons with these kinds of additional strategies, and they will then be much easier to cast out once you start to directly engage with them. Here is how to word out this type of battle command to the demons using this particular strategy on telling them that all of their waters have now been fully dried up:
“Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, all of your waters with this man have now been completely dried up. I repeat, all of the waters that you have been drinking from in this man have now been fully dried up.
John has already confessed all of his involvement with the occult to God the Father and you thus no longer have any more valid legal rights to stay attached to him. I know the legal rights that you have been operating on with John have been feeding you over the time that you have all been in him.
But this is now all over. There is now nothing left for any of you to feed on, to drink on, or to operate on. This show and this game that you have been playing with this man is now all over in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
When you tell the demons that you are drying up all of their waters, you will want to tell them exactly why. And the way that you do it is by telling them what all of their legal rights have been one by one with this person, and then how you have just broken all of them before the Lord.
You will want to tell the demons straight to their faces that you know exactly why they have been in there all of this time, and that the show is now over since you have now fully broken all of their legal rights before God the Father.
Now that you have fully dried up all of the waters of these demons on the inside of John, you will now continue your assault on these demons by going next after the inner kingdom they have built on the inside of John during the time they have all been in him.
7. Tear Down the Inner Kingdom of the Enemy
When demons enter in on the inside of someone, the first thing they are going to try and do is set up an inner kingdom where they will be trying to set up various types of strongholds within the person, with the chief demon being the head spirit who will be running the entire show and all of the lesser demons being under his direct control and authority.
From there, all of the lesser demons will start to operate on the person with the nature of their personalities. The function names of the demons will tell you what the nature of their personality is, and these demons will then try to infect and contaminate the person with all of their negative personality qualities over a period of time.
In this next strategy, you will now be going directly after the inner kingdom they have built up on the inside of this person during the time they have all been in him. Just like the enemy in natural warfare will have some type of natural home base, fortress, or kingdom built up for themselves – in the same way in the spiritual realm, these demons will try and build up an inner kingdom once they have been able to get in on the inside of a person.
Jesus Himself tells us in Matthew 16:18 that the “gates” of hell will not prevail against His church. Key on the word “gates.” And in many of these types of inside cases, you will literally have a demon who is called the gatekeeper. His job will be to control and guard the opening in the demonized person, and he will also be the one to allow additional evil spirits to come into this person over a certain period of time.
Now that you have severely weakened the demons by breaking all of their legal rights, cutting off the cords and supply lines between them and any outside spirits, and drying up all of their waters so they have nothing else left to be able to feed from and drink from – now the only thing left to do before you start to cast them all out as one spirit is to go in there and tear down the gates, bars, pillars, and walls of the inner kingdom they have built up on the inside of this person over the number of years they have been in him.
In other words, you are going to go in there under the authority of Jesus Christ and completely demolish and tear down the inner kingdom they have built up for themselves on the inside of this man. Here is how you can word this kind of intense and dramatic command to these demons:
“Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, there is now one more thing that I have to do with each and everyone of you. I know that you have all built up an inner kingdom on the inside of John during the time that you have all been in there.
But your day and your time with this man is now all over. I repeat, your day and your time with this man is now all over in the name of Jesus Christ.
Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit now moving against you, I now fully bind up the gatekeeper demon who has been controlling this gate into John’s body and soul. In the name of Jesus Christ, I now completely break down and tear down the gates that you have established on the inside of John. This gate is now being completely tore down, cut down, and demolished by the power of the Holy Spirit now moving against it.
Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit now coming against you, I now tear down all of your pillars, all of your walls, all of your bars, and the rest of your inner kingdom that you have built up on the inside of John.
Your stronghold base, your fortress, and your inner kingdom that you have built up for yourselves on the inside of this man has now been completely tore down, cut down, and demolished by the power of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The Word of God tells us that God the Father has “broken the gates of bronze, and cut the bars of iron in two” (Psalm 107:15-16). God is now moving forward to completely break down and cut down all of your bars and all of your gates that you had put up in this man.
You no longer have a place, a fortress, or a kingdom in which to stay in with this man. You now have nowhere else to go but OUT – OUT of this man once and for all.
This kingdom, this show, and this game that you have been playing with this man is now all over. You must now all go and leave this man – and you are to never, ever come back on him ever again.”
Now that you have completely tore down and demolished the inner kingdom these demons have built up on the inside of this man over the time they have been in him, you will now be ready for the final blow, which will finally expel these demons out of John once and for all.
8. Bind the Lesser Demons to the Chief Demon and Cast Them All Out as One Spirit
This next strategy will now be the final blow that you will deliver to these demons. What you will be doing in this final step and strategy is binding up all of the lesser demons to the head chief demon.
And then once you bind up all of the lesser demons to the head chief demon, then you will cast all of them out as one spirit instead of trying to cast all of them out individually, which would take a lot longer to do.
When the demons are actually being cast out, one of two things will happen. Either the person will have an actual manifestation of them leaving or there will be no manifestations. If there are no manifestations, this does not mean they have not been cast out.
The way you will know if they are gone is the person himself will be able to tell you. In some of these heavier inside type of cases, the demons will have been in these people for so long, they will know when they have left, as they will feel much lighter and much more free on the inside of them. The Holy Spirit will also help you with this, as you will be getting a very good witness from Him they have all been finally expelled out of this person for good.
If God will allow an actual manifestation to occur as the demons are leaving, what you could possibly see then is the person either coughing, yawning, or burping the demons right out through their mouths. And when they do come out right through the mouth, sometimes there could be some vomit or phlegm that will come out with them. That is why you should always have some kind of a waste bucket nearby just in case this kind of manifestation does occur.
Demons can also be expelled out through the nose, eyes, ears, the top of the head, and the hands. Sometimes the person will actually feel it as it is occurring, other times they will not feel or sense anything.
Now here is how you can word this kind of intense, final, battle command to these demons so you can drive all of them right out of the person for good :
“Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, you are now all at the end of your rope with this man. All of your legal rights have now been fully broken with God the Father. You now have nothing else left to hold onto.
Your waters have been fully dried up and your inner kingdom has now been completely destroyed and obliterated by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Demons, you now have nowhere else to go but OUT of this man. I repeat, in the name of Jesus Christ, you now have nowhere else to go but OUT of this man.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I now come against every single demon who is attached to John, whether it be on the inside of John or on the outside of John.
I now bind up every single lesser underling demon to the head, chief demon, who has been running this entire show from the very beginning with John. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, all of these demons are now fully bound up under the head chief demon – all under Your might and Your power.
Father, if by chance there is more than one group of demons on the inside of John, with each group having their own head, chief demon and their own stronghold area they have been working on in John, I now bind up all of these groups together as one spirit. They are now all joined together and bound together by the power of the Holy Spirit.
To the head, chief demon who has been running this entire show on the inside of John, I now come directly against you in the name of Jesus Christ. I repeat, I now come directly against you in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
All of the lesser underling demons are now fully bound up directly to you. I am now going to command all of you to come out of John and leave him as one spirit and when I do, you will all leave John quietly and without any type of commotion or disturbance.
When you leave, and you will be leaving, you will not hurt John, myself, or anyone else who is in this room. In the name of Jesus Christ, you will not manifest in any way, shape, or form as you are being cast out of this man.
Demons, in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit now coming against you, I now command each and every one of you to come out of John RIGHT NOW – and you are to leave this man, and you are to never, ever come back on him – ever again!
Demons, GO NOW in the name of Jesus Christ and do not ever come back on this man or his household ever again. Your assignment with this man from Satan is now over. I repeat, your assignment with this man is now fully over in the name of Jesus Christ.
You now have nothing else left to hold onto with this man. This show is now over – end of discussion!
Demons, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has already fully destroyed all of your evil works at the cross. Jesus Christ has already fully disarmed all of your principalities and powers, making a complete public spectacle of all of them and totally triumphing over all of them. My Lord and Savior has already delivered all of us from the powers of darkness, which is all of you.
Demons, the Word of God tells us that every single knee shall bow to Jesus Christ and fully confess that He is truly Lord over all. The Word of God tells us that even those who are underneath the earth shall bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. And demons, those who are underneath the earth are all of you.
As such, each and everyone of you now has to fully bow and fully confess that Jesus Christ is truly Lord over all. As a result, you are no match whatsoever for His power, which is now coming directly against you to drive all of you out of John once and for all. Colossians 2:9 tells us that in Jesus Christ dwells all of the fullness of the Godhead bodily, that John is fully complete in Him, and that He is the head of all principality and power.
Jesus Christ is truly King of kings and Lord of lords and you were all totally defeated by Him at the cross. As such, you no longer have any more sway, power, or legal rights over John. This captive is now being set fully free by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and there is now nothing more any of you can do about it.
Demons, the full fury and the full wrath of God the Father is now coming against each and everyone of you. You are to release this man RIGHT NOW in the name of Jesus Christ. You are to leave this man RIGHT NOW as one spirit and you are not to harm a hair on his head as you are leaving him.
God the Father is now raining down heaping coals of fire on each and everyone of you. He has now had enough of this show, and by the power of His Holy Spirit, He is now moving against each and every one of you, now fully driving all of you out of this man – never, ever to return to him again.
I now plead the blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ against each and every one of you. I repeat, I now plead the blood of Jesus Christ against each and everyone of you so that you are all COMPLETELY WASHED OUT AND COMPLETELY CAST OUT OF JOHN – never, ever to return to him again.
By the power of the blood of Jesus Christ, I now break all of your holds and all of your evil grip on this man. Demons, LOOSE HIM RIGHT NOW, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I now ask that You loose your battle angels against all of these demons who have been holding John captive all of this time.
Father, allow Your holy battle angels to now move forward and strike and smite these demons with full force. Father, I ask that You reign down heaping coals of fire on every single one of these demons. Father, strike these demons right now with Your full fury and Your full wrath.
Demons, every single one of you are to come out of John RIGHT NOW in the name of Jesus Christ . And as you are leaving him, you are not to manifest or hurt John in any way, shape, or form. You are to leave John quietly, without any type of commotion or disturbance.
GO NOW in the name of Jesus Christ. I repeat, GO NOW in the name of Jesus Christ, and do not ever come back on this man ever again, and do not attempt to try and send any other evil spirits John’s way from this moment on.
Father, I now ask that You pour out the blood of Your Son Jesus Christ over every inch of John’s body, over every inch of John’s soul, and over every inch of John’s spirit so he is fully protected from this moment on from any demonic spirits who may want to try and come back against him.
Father, I now ask that from this moment on that You give John perfect physical and spiritual protection from these demons and make sure they never, ever come back on him – ever again. Father, let the blood of Your Son Jesus perfectly seal and perfectly protect John from any further attacks from these demons ever again.
Father, I now ask that You allow Your Holy Spirit to release from John’s spirit and allow Him to fill up into John’s soul so that he can now become truly Spirit-filled, so the Holy Spirit can now fully protect his soul from ever being attacked by these demons ever again. Let John receive the baptism of Your Holy Spirit up into his soul so he can now become that much closer to You in his walk with You.
Father, if there is any part of John’s soul that has been fragmented as a result of these demons being on the inside of him for as long as they have, I now ask that You put these fragments back into John’s soul in perfect order so his soul can now become fully restored and fully healed.
Father, thank You for this victory. Thank You for caring enough about this man to get him fully delivered from these demons.
Father – to You, to Your Son Jesus, and to Your Holy Spirit – to all of You be all of the glory, praise, and honor for this incredible victory and this incredible deliverance.
Father, we will never, ever forget what we have witnessed today. We have seen Your love, Your mercy, Your glory, and Your power come against these demons to set this man fully free, once and for all. Father, again, thank You so much for caring and setting this man fully free today from these demons.”
Again, feel free to add any other wording that you feel will fit the specific situation you are dealing with on your end. You can also go to our article, “Battle Verses to Use Against Demonic Spirits,” and pick out which specific battle verses you would like to use for the specific situation that you are dealing with, and then put them into the appropriate spots in the battle prayer itself.
You can also have all of this battle prayer typed out like we have done and start out by reading it directly to the demons. But from there, just be very open and sensitive to any additional words the Holy Spirit will give you right there on the spot as you are directly engaging with the demons. Also, don’t be afraid to keep repeating certain words or certain sentences from the above prayer as you are reading it out directly to the demons.
By initially starting out by writing everything that you would like to say, you will cover all of your bases and major points with these demons. But be very sensitive to anything else the Holy Spirit may want you to say or do.
The Holy Spirit will become very active with you once you go into battle mode with these demons, and you could get a very nice flow from Him as to exactly what to say to these demons once you start engaging with them.
What I cannot tell you is exactly how long you will have to stay with all of this. Sometimes just once or twice with the above kind of battle prayer, and the demons will then leave and that will be it.
Other times, you may have to stay with it a bit longer. Again, you will have to be totally guided by the Holy Spirit as to exactly how long you will have to stay with each case, and if there is anything else He is going to want you to say or do to get all of these demons fully driven out of the person once and for all.
At the end of this article, I will put this entire battle prayer together from start to finish so you can see exactly how all of this will fit and flow together.
What to Do if the Demons Will Not Leave
In many of the cases that have come our way, the demons have been able to be cast off the person within the first one or two attempts. But on some of the harder cases that could come your way, you may have to stay with it a little bit longer before you will be able to get all of the demons out. It could take more than one or two sessions to get the job fully done on some of the more heavier cases.
It all depends on how long they have been in there, what kinds of demons are on the inside of them, how many legal rights you are having to deal with, and exactly what kinds of strategies that God the Father is going to want to use on the case you are dealing with.
You will have to be totally guided by the Holy Spirit as to exactly how long you will need to stay with each case until you get the complete victory, and if there is anything else He will want you to do before the demons are finally expelled out of the person for good.
If you are having a real tough time in trying to get all of them out, and you feel that you have done everything you can to secure all of the legal rights they have been operating on, here are two additional things you can try.
1. Call Up the Head Chief Demon and Command Him to Tell You What Additional Legal Rights There May Be That You Are Not Aware Of
What you can try next is to call up the head, chief demon and command him, in the name of Jesus, to identify himself by his function name. Then ask him who else is in there with him and what other legal rights there are that you are not aware of that is allowing them to be able to continue to stay in this person.
The only time you really want to converse with the demons is when you are commanding them to give you additional vital information that you will need to be able to cast them out. We are not allowed to have general types of conversations with them.
But we can call up the head chief demon up and ask him to identify himself by his function name so you will know exactly what kind of legal right or rights he has been operating on within the person during the time they have all been in him.
Baptist minister, Don Dickerman, in his excellent book , “When Pigs Move In,” uses this tactic quite frequently with very good results. What he will do so the chief demon will not try and lie to him is to tell him that he is now standing before Jehovah God and that he will not be allowed to tell any lies in His presence. Don has found that demons cannot and will not lie when you tell them they are now standing before the throne of Jehovah God.
And then once you find out what additional legal rights there may be they are still holding onto, then command the chief demon to go back down and not to interfere with the additional conversation you will now have with the person. Once the chief demon has gone back down, then you will question the person on this additional legal right or rights you may have uncovered from this chief demon.
And whatever that additional legal right may be, then just get it properly taken care of and broken with the Lord like you did with the other legal rights earlier on in step 4. And then once that additional legal right or rights has been fully taken care of with the Lord, then go back in there and start commanding the demons to leave once again. Sometimes all you have to find out is one or two additional legal rights that the person may not have been aware of and that will then break their evil grip on the person, and the demons will then be able to be cast out once you start directly engaging with them again.
Here is how you can word the command to the head chief demon to have him tell you what additional legal right rights they are still operating on that you may not be aware of:
“In the name of Jesus Christ, I am now calling up the head chief demon who is still on the inside of John. Head demon, I now command you, in the name of Jesus Christ, to come forward right now and identify yourself by the function name that you are operating on with John. Come forward right now, in the name of Jesus Christ, and identify yourself by your function name and reveal yourself both to myself and to John.
Head demon, you are now standing before the throne of Jehovah God, and you cannot and will not tell a lie before Him. So again, in the name of Jesus Christ, I now command you to come forward and tell me what your function name is and what the other legal rights are that we are not aware of that is allowing you to continue to remain in John like you have been doing. In the name of Jesus Christ, tell me right now what your assignment is with this man.”
You can also ask the head chief demon who else is in there with him and what their function names are so you will know exactly what other legal rights may still be in effect with this man.
This is the basic kind of wording you can use to try and get the chief demon to tell you what other legal rights there are that you may not be aware of. If he does not come up on the first command, then say it several more times until he does. You can also tell the person to let you know if the chief demon is talking direct to him on the inside. If he is, then the chief demon will then communicate his function name direct to the person himself.
2. Go Back to the Lord in Prayer
If by chance the above tactic does not work, then what you will have to do is go back in prayer with the Lord and ask Him why these demons are not leaving this person and what else you can do to get this person fully delivered. And this is where you really have to be led by the Holy Spirit, as this is where some very interesting twists and turns could possibly develop with your case.
The Lord may tell you what the additional legal right or rights may be, or He may tell you to go back to the person and ask him some additional questions, which will then fully expose what the additional legal rights may be.
Either way, press hard into the Lord and find out what else you will need to do to get this man fully delivered from these demons. Sometimes God may test your resolve and your determination on a battle like this, so do not give up if you fail on the first several attempts.
Keep seeking with the Lord and sooner or later, He will give you all of the additional information that you will need to be able to cast these demons out of the person once and for all.
Some of the things the demons could still be holding onto may be some unconfessed sin in the person’s life, unforgiveness they may still be holding against someone you may not know of, not being able to make a full surrender to the Lord, and not really wanting to be set free from the demons, even though they say they do. There could also be some additional soul ties that will need to be cut and broken from some of the bad people they have had in their lives.
What to Do After the Deliverance Has Been Completed
After the person has been completely delivered from the demons, you will need to tell them to do several basic things with the Lord. Here is what we would suggest that you tell every person who has just been delivered from the demons who had been attached to them.
1. Legal Rights of the Demons
Make sure they fully understand what the legal rights were that allowed the demons to get on the inside of them in the first place, and then make sure they do not allow those entry points to ever occur again with these demons.
Also tell them to watch out for any counterattacks from the enemy and for them not to fall for any of their tricks or traps. You can also print out and give them a copy of our article titled, “Battle Verses to Use Against Demonic Spirits,” so they will have all of the basic ammunition from the Word of God they will ever need to directly engage with any demons who may ever want to try and come back to tempt or attack them again.
They will also need to start walking in forgiveness, especially if some of the legal rights were them not being able to forgive some of the people who may have abused or hurt them in their past.
2. Start to Establish a Close Personal Relationship with the Lord
Have them start to establish and enter into a close personal relationship with the Lord through direct prayer and fellowship with Him. God has just fully delivered this person from these demons and they should be very thankful and grateful for it, and they thus should want to draw very close to the Lord for what He has just done for them.

3. Make Sure They Stay in the Full Surrender With the Lord
Make sure they stay in this full and complete surrender with the Lord for the rest of their earthly lives as explained in our article, “The Full Surrender.” This is a full surrender to the death, not just to the point where they get fully delivered from their demons.
Jesus is not only their personal Savior, but He must now also become their personal Lord from this moment on. Jesus will now be the One to control the direction their lives will now take, not themselves or anyone else in their lives.
4. Start Reading and Studying From the Bible
Tell them to start growing in the knowledge of God and all of His ways by reading and studying from the Bible on some kind of a regular basis. The more of God’s Word they can get in them, the freer and stronger they will become in the Lord over time.
Again, you can lead them to this website, as our site has been set up to help them understand what has been written in the Bible. This site can really help accelerate their learning curve in the Word of God.
5. Join a Good, Spirit-Filled Church
Have them join and connect with a good, Spirit-filled church in their area if by chance they were not connected to a specific church at the time of their deliverance with you.
They will need to get plugged into good teaching and good fellowship with other believers, as the Bible has told us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together with one another.
6. Set Them Up With a Good Christian Counselor if They Will Need Any Type of Inner Healing
If they still need help with any kind of inner healing, especially from any type of deeper emotional wounds and hurts from their past, try and get them set up with a good Christian counselor who can help work with them to start the inner healing process with the Lord if for some reason you cannot do this with them on your own.
Now that the demons are gone, they should be able to make good and steady progress with a good Christian counselor.
7. Tell Them to Choose Their Friends Very Carefully in This Life
Tell them to look for God to bring in some good, true, God-friends into their lives so they will have other Spirit-filled believers to fellowship with and to share their walk with if they do not have many good God-friends at this time.
When people have demons on the inside of them, sometimes the demons will try and isolate that person over the period of time they are in them so they do not develop many good friendships with other people, especially with other solid Christians.
Also advise them that God is probably going to take out some of the bad and negative people who are still in their lives. If you had them break any ungodly soul ties when you were dealing with their legal rights earlier on, then chances are, God may also want some of those bad people out of their lives for good if that will be at all possible.
It would also be our recommendation that you lead them to our article, “Choose Your Friends Carefully,” in the Bible Basics section of our site for the specific verses on this very important topic. God is now going to start to build them up in Himself and His Word, and He will not be wanting any type of negative influences in their lives trying to stunt their spiritual growth in Him.
The Battle Prayer in its Entirety
Since the above battle prayer was broken up in the different sections I was covering, I will go ahead and put all of the above battle prayer in its complete entirety from start to finish under this caption so you can see exactly how all of it will fit and flow together.
You can also cut and paste this battle prayer into a word document, and then adjust as much of the wording as you want to fit the specific situation that you are dealing with on your end.
1. Prayer to God the Father
“Father,
In the name of Jesus, I now come before You to take on the demons who are now living and operating in John. Father, these demons have now been in John long enough. He has had enough of their torment and bondage and he is now ready to be set fully free from these foul and evil spirits.
Father, in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, I now ask that You personally anoint me for this battle. Father, in Your Word you have told us that we will have Your power and Your authority to be able to trample over all of the power of the enemy and that nothing shall be able to hurt us.
You have told us in Your Word that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. You have told us in Your Word that we shall cast out demons in Your name. You have told us in Your Word that You are a Man of War and that You can be stirred up to go into battle for us.
Father, I now ask that You stir Yourself up as a Man of War and that You personally take on these demons and drive them right out of this man and right out of his life for good – never again to return to bother, harass, or torment him – ever again! Father, I now ask that You shine Your holy light into every part of John’s being and every part of John’s life so we can see exactly what these demons have been up to with him so we will know how to fully handle this situation with him.
Father, fully expose these demons for what they really are – defeated, fallen angels who fell from Your mercy, love, and grace up in heaven. Father, shed Your holy light on these demons so they cannot run or hide from this deliverance.
Father, show us any additional legal rights during this deliverance that we may not have uncovered earlier on so we will know exactly what we will have to take care of with You.
Father, You have said in Your Word that the Sword of the Holy Spirit is Your Word. Father, in the name of Jesus, I now ask that You let Your Word be my Sword. Father, I repeat, let Your Word be my Sword so that these demons can now be fully driven out of John once and for all.
Father, I now ask that You fully arm me for this battle. I now take up and put on my helmet of salvation, my shield of faith, my breastplate of righteousness, and my Sword of the Holy Spirit so I can now fully operate under Your full anointing against these demons so You can drive and cast all of them out of John once and for all.
Father, I now ask that You allow Your full spiritual armor to be put on me right now in the name of Jesus so I can now do battle against these demons who are on the inside of John.
Father, these demons have now been in John long enough. Father, I now ask that You declare ALL OUT WAR against these demons. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we now ask that You move FULL FORCE against these demons as a mighty Man of War so John can be set fully free from these demons, once and for all.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I now plead the blood of Your Son Jesus Christ over every inch of my body, over every inch of my soul, and over every inch of my spirit so I can now have a full protective covering against these demons.
I now ask that You station your battle angels all around me so they can protect both myself, John, and everyone else who is in this room so no harm will come to any of us during this entire deliverance.
Father, I also ask that You allow the blood of Your Son Jesus to fully protect myself, John, and the rest of the people who are in this room from any of these demons being able to attack any of our personal possessions such as our houses, our cars, our families, our finances, and our health.
Father, I ask that You fully protect all of us from any type of vengeful act from any of these demons after You have fully cast all of them out of John.
Demons, I am now coming against each and everyone of you in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I repeat, I am now coming against each and everyone of you operating under the full power, the full authority, and the full anointing of God the Father.
Demons, the Word of my God tells me in Luke 10:19 that my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has now given me the full authority to be able trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and that nothing shall by any means hurt me. Demons, the serpents and scorpions that Jesus is talking about in this verse is all of you and I thus have my Lord’s direct authority and power to be able to cast all of you out of John once and for all.
Demons, Jesus has told us in Luke 9:1 that He has given His disciples “power and authority over all demons,” which includes all of you who are on the inside of John.
As a true disciple of Jesus Christ, I now have His direct full authority and His direct full power to be able to cast all of you out of John once and for all.
Demons, the Word of God also tells us in Exodus 15:3 and Isaiah 42:13 that my God is a “Man of War” and that He shall “go forth like a mighty Man,” that He shall “stir up His zeal like a Man of War” and “that He shall prevail against His enemies.”
Demons, every single one of you is a direct enemy of the Lord and He will now be moving against each and everyone of you. God the Father will now totally prevail against all of you. You are no match for His strength and His power.
I repeat, the Lord of Hosts will now be moving against each and every one of you right now as a mighty Man of War and you will have absolutely no chance against His wrath, against His fury, and against His power. Demons, you are now all done and you are now all finished. Your show and your time with this man is now all over.
Demons, I bind up each and everyone of you right now so you cannot attack or harm either John, myself, or anyone else who is in this room. I repeat, I bind up each and every one of you right now in the name of Jesus Christ so you cannot harm either John, myself, and the rest of the people who are in this room.
You are to stand down and completely back off him and you are not to engage with either John or myself in any way, shape, or form. You are not to move an inch, say a word, or harm a hair on this man’s head during this entire deliverance.
Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, I am now raising up my shield of faith against each and every one of you. This shield of faith from my Lord and Savior is now forming an invisible and impenetrable shield between you and us.
You will not be able to cross this shield in any way, shape, or form. Both myself and every single person who is in this room is now being fully protected by the Lord with this shield of faith. Every single one of you is now fully bound up and completely shut down – all in the name of Jesus Christ.
To every single demon who is on the inside of John, in the name of Jesus Christ, you are not to run, hide, or attempt any kind of communication to any other spirits who are on the outside of John. You are not to seek out any kind of help or reinforcement from any outside spirits whatsoever in the name of Jesus Christ.
All of your lifelines and all of your cords to any of these outside spirits has now been completely cut and completely severed – all in the name of Jesus Christ. The Word of God tells us that God the Father will “cut in pieces the cords of the wicked” (Psalm 129:2). All of your cords have now been completely cut, completely severed, and completely cast off, all by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If there are any demonic spirits who are in this room, but not on the inside of John, I now command you, in the name of Jesus Christ, to leave this room and to leave this building and do not come back to this place ever again. GO NOW, in the name of Jesus Christ.
To the demons who are on the inside of John, you are now all bound up together to the head, chief demon and you are now all fully paralyzed. You cannot move an inch, say a word, or harm a hair on this man’s head or anyone else who is in this room.
Demons, there will be no manifestations whatsoever from this point on. You will not attempt any type of violence. You will not attempt any type of vomiting or distracting type of behavior. You are now all shut down and completely bound up by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, I also forbid you to try and communicate with one another on the inside of John. To each and everyone of you, you are not to talk to or try to get any help whatsoever from any other spirits who are on the inside of John. All of your communication lines are totally and completely cut and severed by the power of the Holy Spirit so none of you can communicate in any way, shape, or form with one another. I forbid the head, chief demon from being able to communicate with any of his underlings, and I forbid any of the underlings from being able to communicate with the head, chief demon.
Demons, we now know what all of your legal rights have been with this man over the time that you have been in him. John, not knowing any better, foolishly started to dabble in the occult. But he now knows that what he has done was a direct sin against the Lord and that He was breaking some of God’s basic commandments on us not having anything to do with the occult.
But John has now fully confessed, fully repented, and fully renounced all of his activities in the occult before God the Father. The blood of Jesus Christ has now fully washed away all of John’s transgressions against the Lord and He has now been fully forgiven and fully washed clean by the blood of Jesus.
Demons, as a result of this man’s transgressions being fully confessed out and fully forgiven before the Lord, you no longer have any more legal rights in which to stay attached to this man. I repeat, in the name of Jesus Christ, you no longer have any more legal rights to stay attached to this man, as all of your legal rights have now been fully broken and fully severed as a result of his full confession and full repentance before God the Father.
Each and everyone of you will now have to leave him in the name of Jesus Christ. I repeat, each and everyone of you will now have to leave this man in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
2. Dry Up the Waters of the Enemy
“Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, all of your waters with this man have now been completely dried up. I repeat, all of your waters that you have been drinking from in this man have now been fully dried up.
John has already confessed all of his involvement with the occult to God the Father and you thus no longer have any more valid legal rights to stay attached to him. I know the legal rights that you have been operating on with John have been feeding you over the time that you have all been in him. But this is now all over. There is now nothing left for any of you to feed on, to drink on, or to operate on. This show and this game that you have been playing with this man is now all over in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
3. Tear Down the Inner Kingdom of the Enemy
“Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, there is now one more thing that I have to do with each and everyone of you. I know that you have all built up an inner kingdom on the inside of John during the time that you have all been in there. But your day and your time with this man is now all over. I repeat, your day and your time with this man is now all over in the name of Jesus Christ.
Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit now moving against you, I now fully bind up the gatekeeper demon who has been controlling this gate into John’s body and soul. In the name of Jesus Christ, I now completely break down and tear down the gates that you have established on the inside of John. This gate is now being completely tore down, cut down, and demolished by the power of the Holy Spirit now moving against it.
Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit now coming against you, I now tear down all of your pillars, all of your walls, all of your bars, and the rest of your inner kingdom that you have built up on the inside of John. Your stronghold base, your fortress, and your inner kingdom that you have built up for yourselves on the inside of this man has now been completely tore down, cut down, and demolished by the power of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The Word of God tells us that God the Father has “broken the gates of bronze, and cut the bars of iron in two” (Psalm 107:15-16). God is now moving forward to completely break down and cut down all of your bars and all of your gates that you had put up in this man. You no longer have a place, a fortress, or a kingdom in which to stay in with this man. You now have nowhere else to go but OUT – OUT of this man once and for all.
This kingdom, this show, and this game that you have been playing with this man is now over. You must now all go and leave this man – and you are to never, ever come back on him ever again.”
4. Bind the Lesser Demons to Chief Demon and Cast Them All Out as One Spirit
“Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, you are now all at the end of your rope with this man. All of your legal rights have now been fully broken with God the Father. You now have nothing else left to hold onto. Your waters have been fully dried up and your inner kingdom has now been completely destroyed and obliterated by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Demons, you now have nowhere else to go but OUT of this man. I repeat, in the name of Jesus Christ, you now have nowhere else to go but OUT of this man.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I now come against every single demon who is attached to John, whether it be on the inside of John or on the outside of John. I now bind up every single lesser underling demon to the head chief demon, who has been running this entire show from the very beginning with John. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, all of these demons are now fully bound up under the head chief demon – all under Your might and Your power.
Father, if by chance there is more than one group of demons on the inside of John, with each group having their own head, chief demon and their own stronghold area they have been working on in John, I now bind up all of these groups together as one spirit. They are all now joined together and bound together by the power of the Holy Spirit.
To the head chief demon who has been running this entire show on the inside of John, I now come directly against you in the name of Jesus Christ. I repeat, I now come directly against you in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
All of the lesser underling demons are now fully bound up directly to you. I am now going to command all of you to come out of John and leave him as one spirit and when I do, you will all leave John quietly and without any type of commotion or disturbance. When you leave, and you will be leaving, you will not hurt John, myself, or anyone else who is in this room. In the name of Jesus Christ, you will not manifest in any way, shape, or form as you are being cast out of this man.
Demons, in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit now coming against you, I now command each and every one of you to come out of John RIGHT NOW – and you are to leave this man, and you are to never, ever come back on him – ever again!
Demons, GO NOW in the name of Jesus Christ and do not ever come back on this man or his household ever again. Your assignment with this man from Satan is now fully over. I repeat, your assignment with this man is now fully over in the name of Jesus Christ. You now have nothing else left to hold onto with this man. This show is now over – end of discussion!
Demons, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has already fully destroyed all of your evil works at the cross. Jesus Christ has already fully disarmed all of your principalities and powers, making a complete public spectacle of all of them and totally triumphing over all of them. My Lord and Savior has already delivered all of us from the powers of darkness, which is all of you.
Demons, the Word of God tells us that every single knee shall bow to Jesus Christ and fully confess that He is truly Lord over all. The Word of God tells us that even those who are underneath the earth shall bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. And demons, those who are underneath the earth are all of you.
As such, each and everyone of you has to now fully bow and fully confess that Jesus Christ is truly Lord over all. As a result, you are no match whatsoever for His power, which is now coming directly against you to drive all of you out of John once and for all. Colossians 2:9 tells us that in Jesus Christ dwells all of the fullness of the Godhead bodily, that John is fully complete in Him, and that He is the head of all principality and power.
Jesus Christ is truly King of kings and Lord of lords and you were all totally defeated by Him at the cross. As such, you no longer have any more sway, power, or legal rights over John. This captive is now being set fully free by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and there is now nothing more any of you can do about it.
Demons, the full fury and the full wrath of God the Father is now coming against each and everyone of you. You are to release this man RIGHT NOW in the name of Jesus Christ.
You are to leave this man RIGHT NOW as one spirit and you are not to harm a hair on his head as you are leaving him. God the Father is now raining down heaping coals of fire on each and everyone of you. He has now had enough of this show, and by the power of His Holy Spirit, He is now moving against each and every one of you, now fully driving all of you out of this man – never, ever to return to him again.
I now plead the blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ against each and every one of you. I repeat, I now plead the blood of Jesus Christ against each and everyone of you so that you are all COMPLETELY WASHED OUT AND COMPLETELY CAST OUT OF JOHN – never, ever to return to him again. By the power of the blood of Jesus Christ, I now break all of your holds and all of your evil grip on this man. Demons, LOOSE HIM RIGHT NOW, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I now ask that You loose your battle angels against all of these demons who have been holding John captive all of this time. Father, allow Your holy battle angels to now move forward and strike and smite these demons with full force. Father, I ask that You reign down heaping coals of fire on every single one of these demons. Father, strike these demons right now with Your full fury and Your full wrath.
Demons, every single one of you are to come out of John RIGHT NOW in the name of Jesus Christ. And as you are leaving him, you are not to manifest or hurt John in any way, shape, or form. You are to leave John quietly, without any type of commotion or disturbance. GO NOW in the name of Jesus Christ. I repeat, GO NOW in the name of Jesus Christ and do not ever come back on this man ever again.
Father, I now ask that You pour out the blood of Your Son Jesus Christ over every inch of John’s body, over every inch of John’s soul, and over every inch of John’s spirit so he is fully protected from this moment on from any demonic spirits who may want to try and come back against him.
Father, I now ask that from this moment on that You give John perfect physical and spiritual protection from these demons and make sure they never, ever come back on him – ever again. Father, let the blood of Jesus perfectly seal and perfectly protect John from any further attacks from these demons ever again.
Father, I now ask that You allow your Holy Spirit to release from John’s spirit and allow Him to fill up into John’s soul so he can now become truly Spirit-filled, so the Holy Spirit can now fully protect his soul from ever being attacked by these demons ever again. Let John receive the baptism of Your Holy Spirit up into his soul so he can now become that much closer to You in his walk with You.
Father, if there is any part of John’s soul that has been fragmented as a result of these demons being on the inside of him for as long as they have, I now ask that You put these fragments back into John’s soul in perfect order so his soul can now become fully restored and fully healed.
Father, thank You for this victory. Thank You for caring enough about this man to get him fully delivered from these demons. Father – to You, to Your Son Jesus, and to Your Holy Spirit – to all of You be all of the glory, praise, and honor for this incredible victory and this incredible deliverance.
Father, we will never, ever forget what we have witnessed today. We have seen Your love, Your mercy, Your glory, and Your power come against these demons to set this man fully free, once and for all. Again, thank You so much for caring and setting this man fully free today from these foul demons.”
Analysis of the Battle Prayer
With the Lord’s help, I drew up this special type of battle prayer for many of you so that you could throw every possible effective battle strategy against the demons, along with making sure that both you, the person who has the demons in them, and anyone else who may be in the room with you will be fully protected from any possible counterattacks from these demons once you start up the actual deliverance.
This battle prayer came in a little bit longer compared to some of the other ones that we have in our site, but when you are dealing with a nest of demons who have been living on the inside of a person for a certain number of years, you will want to cover all of your bases with them and the Lord, along with wanting to throw everything at them including the kitchen sink.
Notice the following strategies that was in this battle prayer :
1. The first thing you will want to do before you start to directly engage with the demons is to get God’s full protection on you so that neither you, the host, or anyone else who is in the room will be attacked by these demons. In this type of heavier battle prayer, I will have you do the following so that you can get God’s full protection on both you and the host before you start to actually engage with the demons:
a) Put on the full armor of God
b) Ask God to station His battle angels all around you
c) Plead the Blood of Jesus on your body, soul, spirit, and on some of your personal possessions for God’s protection
d) Put up the Lord’s shield of Faith between you and the demons so the demons cannot get to you with any type of physical attack
By doing these 4 specific things with the Lord, you will create an invisible, impenetrable wall and shield around you where the demons will not be able to attack or harm you.
Many people are scared to death to directly engage with demons for fear they will come under some type of an attack by them. But by taking these 4 specific steps with the Lord before you start to engage with the demons, this will give you God’s full protective covering on you so you will not have to worry about being attacked by the demons.
2. The next thing to notice is that you are going to totally bind up all of these demons so they will all be fully paralyzed and won’t be able to move to attack either you or the host. Notice the following specific strategies:
a) You will bind up all of the demons so they cannot move to attack either you or the host in any way, shape, or form
b) You will tell the demons they are to stand down and that they are not to attempt any type of manifestations or attacks against either you, the host, or anyone else who is in the room once you start up the actual deliverance
c) You will completely cut and sever any lifelines and connecting cords from the demons who are on the inside of the person to any demons who might be on the outside of them, as many times the demons who are on the inside will be taking direct orders from higher ranking spirits who will be on the outside of the person’s body
d) You will also be commanding any other demons who might be hovering around the inside of the room, but who will be on the outside of the person’s body, to leave the room and not to come back, so they will not be able to help the demons in any way who are on the inside of the host
e) The last thing you will need to do is totally shut off all of the communication lines between each of the demons who are on the inside of the person so they cannot try to communicate with one another once the deliverance starts up – especially any communication that could occur between the chief demon and all of the underlings who will be under his direct control and authority
By taking these additional kinds of battle steps with the demons, you will completely shut them down and immobilize them so they will not be able to attack or manifest against anyone once you start up the deliverance.
After you have completely shut them down and basically paralyzed them, you will then let them know that all of their waters have been completely dried up and from there, you will then go in there under the power of the Holy Spirit and completely tear down and demolish the inner kingdom they had built up on the inside of that person over the number of years they had been in them.
Once that inner kingdom has been totally tore down and demolished by the power of the Holy Spirit moving against it, then you will finish them off with the last part of the battle prayer where you will then tell them they will now have to leave this person since all of their legal rights had been properly broken before the Lord in step 4 above.
Also notice that you will bind all of the lesser demons to the chief demon and then cast them all out as one spirit instead of trying to cast all of them out one by one, which would take a lot longer to do.
Since you will have no idea on how many demons could possibly be on the inside of a person, it will be much easier and much more effective and productive, not to mention saving a lot more time, to just bind all of the lesser demons to the chief demon and from there, just cast all of them out as one spirit once you have properly broken all of their legal rights earlier on.
By taking these kinds of extra steps with the demons, you will severely weaken and cripple them and from there, they will be much easier to cast out once you start commanding to leave the person in the name of Jesus.
For the record, we recently gave this special, heavy, battle prayer to a woman who had demons living on the inside of her for over 10 years as a result of fornicating with man who had demons living in him from being involved in the occult. We took the above battle prayer, adjusted the wording to fit the specific situation she was dealing with, and then had her do it for herself as a self- deliverance.
She had to say this battle prayer about 5 or 6 times, but on that 6th time, the Holy Spirit rose up in her and cast the demons right out of her body. She said that when they all came out of her, they all went flying out through the windows of her house. As they were leaving, she heard a loud, explosive noise occur as they were all leaving through the windows.
After all of the demons were evicted, she said she immediately felt like her old self again. She also noticed that all of the hardness the demons had put around her heart during the 10 years they were in her all fell right off her, as demons love to harden the heart once they are able to get on the inside of someone.
She has given us permission to release her entire testimony and along with the exact battle prayer that I had given to her. I will have her testimony released in an upcoming article titled, “How To Do a Self-Deliverance.” This woman courageously and boldly took on her demons and drove all of them right out of her own body, as she simply had enough of them being on the inside of her for as long as they had.
Conclusion
All of the above will give you a rough outline on how to do a deliverance where the demons are on the inside of the person. Again, you really have to be guided by the Holy Spirit through all of this. Just realize that the Holy Spirit will become very active with you once you start to enter into a true deliverance.
One of the most fascinating things that you will see occur if you decide to enter into this kind of heavy activity with the Lord, is that you will get to see a side of God the Father that you may have never seen before. You will get to see how creative He can get with the actual battle strategies themselves, since no two deliverances will ever be exactly alike.
You will also get to see the war side to God the Father’s personality. And when you see this ferocious war side erupt and manifest, you will see how much God really does love and care for all of us. It is one thing to know that God loves us and cares for us since the Bible tells us so, but it is quite another thing to actually see that love manifest and move into real action to help set a captive free from the most evil beings in existence.
Whether you get to play a part in a real live deliverance, or you actually get to witness one, either way it will be one of the most dramatic and profound experiences you will ever have with the Lord due to the power clash that will occur between the Lord and the demons. You will see absolute pure good go against absolute pure evil.
And when you see God win in the end and set this person fully free from the demons who had been in them for a long time, it will touch your heart in a way that words will never be able to describe. Hollywood, in a million years, could never capture on the big screen with all of their famous action heroes what God can do in one single deliverance.
For those of you who are willing to do this kind of extra heavy work for the Lord, there is simply no greater reward than to be given a box seat to the greatest show on earth – the show where our great, awesome, and loving God will come to rescue one of His own children who has been taken hostage by the most evil of all beings in the eternal scheme of things. Satan and his demons have now descended down into the dark side where they have now become nothing but pure evil. I do not believe there is one ounce of goodness left in Satan or any of his demons.
As such, when demons strike and steal one of God’s own children, there is no greater thrill than to see our heavenly Father move mightily into action to rescue one of His own children from their evil grip.
When Jesus said that He has come to set the captives free, He was not kidding around. He was meaning exactly what He was saying. God will literally, and I mean literally, come to rescue some of His own if in certain cases He can find willing and yielded vessels who will be willing to work with Him on the deliverance attempt.
Again, the verse from 2 Chronicles 16:9 where it says that the Lord’s eyes are running to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are loyal to Him, once again shows that God wants to do great and mighty things.
And sometimes He will choose one or two people to do a great and mighty work through. And delivering someone from a nest of demons who have been on the inside of them for quite a long period of time is one of the greatest works and exploits that you can do for the Lord in this life.
I know for many Christians the idea of dealing direct with demonic spirits is not very appealing. To battle a purely, evil, spiritual enemy that we cannot see with our natural eyes is very frightening for many Christians.
It is hard enough to battle against human enemies in our natural realm who we can actually see and touch, but to battle against evil spirits that we cannot see or touch, and who are much more stronger and intelligent than we are, is enough to scare the pants right off many Christians. But if you read and study the Bible very carefully, we have absolutely nothing to be afraid of when it comes to warring directly against demonic spirits.
As we have showed you in our article titled, “Battle Verses to Use Against Demonic Spirits,”the battle against Satan and his demons has already been won by Jesus at the cross. Jesus has totally, completely, and singlehandedly defeated the devil and all of his demons when He died on the cross for all of us. As such, we have absolutely nothing to fear when it comes to dealing direct with Satan and all of his demons.
As long as we stay under God’s leadings on how to handle these types of heavier cases, we will have nothing to worry about, since God the Father, His Holy Spirit, and His battle angels will help protect us if we are ever forced to have to do battle with any kinds of demonic spirits in this life.
But again, as one last word to all of you – if by chance you simply do not want to get involved in this type of heavy work for the Lord, as we know that it is not for everyone, God can still use each and everyone of you from time to time to lead a captive into a true deliverance experience with Him.
The Holy Spirit Himself will lead you to who these people are and how to lead them to the right deliverance minister in your area who will then be able to deliver them from their demons. Again, go to our article, “Looking for a Deliverance Minister,” and just follow the logical and straight forward steps that are in that article.
If there is one thing I have learned about this area in the Lord over the years, is that there are just too many demonized people out there who are sitting in the pews of their churches completely slipping underneath the radar screen, with no one in their church and their circle of friends who knows they really have demons attached to them.
Many of these demonized people are too afraid to come forward and tell anyone what they are dealing with for fear they will either not be believed, or they will be thought of as being evil or mentally ill in some way.
The battle is simply this – find the right deliverance ministers who know how to do this type of work for the Lord in your area, and then be open to be led by the Holy Spirit from time to time to lead a captive to one of these deliverance ministers so they can be set fully free from their demons.
Just like many neighborhoods now have some sort of crime watch set up in their neighborhoods so people can spot and report crime when it does occur, in the same way, we should be having other Christians out there who know how to receive direct communication from the Holy Spirit on how to spot and pick up on a person who has demons attached to them. And from there, will know how to be led by the Holy Spirit on how to get that person to someone who will know how to get them fully delivered.
One of the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit is the gift of discerning of spirits, and part of that gift is to have the supernatural ability to be able to see or sense when someone has demons attached to them.
If Jesus Himself has told us to cast out demons as part of the Great Commission He has left us with, and He has also given us His power and authority to be able to do this, then there should be no excuse for any Christian to be having demons living and operating on the inside of them, especially if they belong to a good, Spirit-filled church who should know how to do an actual deliverance for them.
Again, as the Lord has said in 2 Chronicles 16:9 and Daniel 11:32 – He is constantly looking to and fro throughout the whole earth to find people who will be willing to work with Him on doing great and mighty exploits – and delivering people who have demons attached to them is definitely a great and mighty exploit.
How To Do a Self-Deliverance
As you will see when reviewing many of the articles in our Spiritual Warfare and Stories and Testimonies Sections, we are big believers in self-deliverance. God has given all Christians the authority and the power to cast out demons, and that also includes Christians who have demons attached to them – whether they be on the outside of them or on the inside of them.
The testimonies of people who we have set up for their own self-deliverances are again more proof that Christians can cast off any demons who are attached to them, especially when the demons are just attached to them from the outside and are following them around like a dark cloud causing all kinds of trouble with their lives.
However, as we have explained before, the inside cases, where the demons are literally living on the inside of someone’s body, is a little tougher and heavier kind of case to deal with as compared to the outside cases.
If you are a Christian and you have demons living on the inside of you and they have been in there for quite sometime, you will have one of two options to take.
- You can either seek out a good deliverance minister who will know how to cast out demons and let them do it for you if you are too afraid to try and do it on your own.
- Or you can attempt to do it by yourself by way of a self-deliverance.

In this article, we give you information on how to get in contact with a ministry that has healing and deliverance rooms set up all across the USA, along with some of the other countries in the world as well. Many of them will be trained in this area and they should be able to help you get a full deliverance.
If you start to seek out a good deliverance minister in your area, God will then lead you to the one He will want you to work with. If however, you would like to try and do this on your own by way of a self-deliverance, you can then follow the steps we will now give you in this article.
This article will be for people who have demons living on the inside of them. However, you can still take most of these same steps in this article if by chance the demons are only attached to you from the outside.
We have plenty of other articles in our site on how to handle these easier outside type of cases. But I want to gear this article for the heavier inside type of cases, where the demons have been living on the inside of someone for quite a long period of time.
In addition to the basic steps you will need to take, I will also give you an actual testimony in this article of a woman who delivered herself from demons who had been living on the inside of her for a good 10 years.
I will give you the exact battle prayer I had given her so you can see how to form out your own battle prayer to finally drive these demons out of you for good if they have been on the inside of you for quite a long period of time.
Her testimony is a very good example showing that Christians can deliver themselves from demons by way of a self-deliverance if they will only have enough courage and determination to do it.
As you will see when reading this woman’s testimony, it was her determination, tenacity, and courage that got God to move on her behalf and blow the demons right out of her. This was a very dramatic deliverance as you will see when I describe exactly what had occurred in the deliverance itself.
Before I get into her actual testimony so you can see how it was actually done, I want to now give you some basic steps to take so you can properly prepare yourself to do this.
If by chance you are fairly new to our site, it would be our recommendation that you do some initial reading of some of our other articles so you will fully understand what you are about to do and what this is all about.
Here are the articles that we recommend that you read before attempting to do a self-deliverance on yourself with the demons. In the Spiritual Warfare section, here are the 7 specific articles we recommend that you read so you can properly educate yourself in this area:

Also, do not rush this. If the demons have been living on the inside of you for a number of years, another couple of weeks will not make a difference.

In all 4 of these cases, demons were attacking these people from the outside and in each case, they each had to directly engage with the demons to get them off them. These are also much shorter types of battle prayers than the one I will give you for this article, but they will all show you how easily demons can be defeated if you will just have enough courage and determination to take them head on.
Initial Steps to Take
Now here are the initial steps you will need to take before beginning the battle prayer to take on your demons. I will first list them out in a numbered bolded format so you can have them right at the top of this section.
- Make Sure You Are a True, Born-Again Christian
- Make Sure You Are in a Full Surrender With the Lord
- Try to Go Through the Rite of Water Baptism if You Have Never Been Baptized
- Write Down the Legal Rights the Demons Are Using Against You
I will now go through each one of these steps so you will know exactly what I am talking about.
1. Make Sure You Are a True, Born-Again Christian
Deliverance from demons is only available for Christians. Demons are cast out of a person by the Word of God and by the power of the Holy Spirit. If you are not a true, born-again Christian, then you will not have the Holy Spirit on the inside of you. And if you do not have the Holy Spirit on the inside of you, then you will not have His power available to you to cast out the demons.
If by chance you found this article through a google search and you are not a Christian, please go to our article titled, “The Basics of Eternal Salvation Through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
This article will explain to you the basics of our Christian faith in reference to Jesus being the only way to eternal salvation with God the Father. Also in there will be a good, basic, salvation prayer you can use and say that will get you fully saved and born-again with the Lord.
2. Make Sure You Are in a Full Surrender with the Lord
If you are a true, born-again Christian, then the next step you must take is to come into a full surrender with the Lord. Please refer to and read our article titled, “The Full Surrender,” on exactly what this full surrender is all about with the Lord. We also have a good full surrender prayer in there that you can use that will get you into this full surrender with the Lord.
The reason you have to come into this full surrender with the Lord is due to the following verse:
“Therefore submit God. Resist the devil and he will flee.” (James 4:7)
Notice the very first sentence – “Therefore submit to God.” Submitting to God means that you have to be in this full surrender with the Lord where He will now be the One to handle and control the direction your life will now be taking from here on in. If you are not operating in this full surrender with the Lord, then you will not be very successful in being able to resist the devil and his demons when they do move in for an attack on both you and your life.
3. Try to Go Through the Rite of Water Baptism if You Have Never Been Baptized
If by chance you have never gone through the rite of water baptism, it would be our very strong recommendation that you do so before beginning your self-deliverance. There have been documented cases of people having all of their demons completely expelled out of them as a result of going through this very powerful and holy rite.
If the demons can be cast out by going though this holy rite, then you will not have to go through any type of self-deliverance. Here is the link to our article that will fully explain to you what this powerful rite is all about.
“The Rite of Water Baptism”
However, if by chance you cannot do this for whatever reason, you can go ahead and proceed with the rest of the steps below. But again, try to do it if at all possible if you have never gone through this rite before. It is never too late to go through this rite if you had never done it at an earlier age when you initially got saved.
4. Write Down the Legal Rights the Demons Are Using Against You
This next step is now going to be very important. As we explained to you in our other articles, demons just cannot enter into your body because they want to. There usually has to be some kind of legal right or rights that were given to them earlier on to allow them to enter into your body.
What you need to do now is to write down what those legal rights are. Again, go back to our article titled, “Dealing With the Legal Rights of Demons,” and go over each one of them very carefully to see if they were some of the legal rights the demons were using to get on the inside of you.
Many times people who have demons on the inside of them will know exactly what the legal rights are and exactly when the demons entered on the inside of them. But if by chance you do not know, study that list we have in the above article very carefully to see if you have any of those legal rights in your past.
Also, go to the Lord in prayer and ask Him to show you any additional legal rights that you may not be aware of. Give the Lord a good 4-5 days to let you know what they may be so you can get all of them all properly taken care of with Him.
Once you have all of the legal rights written down, then you will need to properly break all of them before the Lord. And that will be the first part of your battle prayer – to properly break all of the legal rights that the demons are using against you. And again, the above article tiled, “Dealing with the Legal Rights of Demons,” will show you how to fully break each one of these kinds of legal rights.
This will now take us into the actual testimony I will now give you so you can see exactly how to form out your own battle prayer to fit the specific set of circumstances you are dealing with.
Testimony of an Actual Self-Deliverance
This testimony is now going to give you a very good example on how to form out your own personal battle prayer to finally cast all of your demons out of you once and for all. Here is exactly what had occurred with this case.
About a year ago, we received an email from a middle-aged woman who had demons living on the inside of her for 10 years. She knew exactly what the legal rights were and exactly when they had entered into her.
Long story short, 10 years ago, she met a guy who was practicing in some of the occult arts. She was warned by both God and her family and friends to stay away from this man due to what he was involved in. However, she did not heed their warnings and went ahead and started to date the man. Shortly thereafter, she started to have sexual relations with him.
On the fourth or fifth time she went to bed with him, she all of a sudden felt something enter into her body in her stomach area. She told me she could literally feel something moving around in her stomach area. She also thought she might be pregnant, but she felt this moving sensation immediately after having sex with this man on the 4th or 5th time. She also thought it would be kind of strange that a baby would start kicking this early if by chance she was pregnant.
She went ahead and went to a doctor to see if she was pregnant. He told her she was not. Then over the next month or two she still felt that moving sensation in her stomach area. She then went back to the doctors to see if there might be anything else wrong with her. All of the tests came back negative and the doctors told her they could not find anything medically wrong with her. At this point, she started to wonder if demons had entered into her body as a result of fornicating with a man who was involved in the occult.
Then shortly after all of the above had occurred, she started to get some strange demonic manifestations in her house. She said she got punched one time in the face by a demon and one of the demons also attacked her 5 year old son. She said her sister then got involved and was able to cast the demon off her son, but nothing had happened with her.
From there, she carried these demons with her on the inside of her body for the next 10 years. By the time she contacted our site, she said she was fed up with having them on the inside of her for as long as they had been in there. She had read many of the articles in our site, especially the one titled, “Battle Prayer to Break a Generational Curse Line,” where a 16 year old girl did a self-deliverance on herself with a battle prayer we had drawn up for her.
She said she was now ready to do the exact same thing for herself. She told me the demons had hardened her heart over the years and every time she tried to go in a church, they would rise up in her and burn her chest area. She also said she was not comfortable in having her pastor do this and she wanted to try and do it herself by way of an actual self-deliverance.
After questioning this woman on her past, the only legal right involved on this case was the fact that she had not only fornicated with a man outside the bounds of holy marriage, but she fornicated with a man who probably already had demons either on him or in him since he was involved in the occult.
Many deliverance ministers have found that Christians can get demons on the inside of them if they fornicate with a person who already has demons attached to them. This is why it is so dangerous for any Christian to be fornicating with anyone outside the bounds of holy marriage, as you have no idea what some of these people may have in their past, and whether or not any of them already have demons attached to them.
By the time she contacted us, she was already very sorry for disobeying the Lord on His command from His Word that He does not want any of us to be fornicating outside the bounds of marriage. She had already received the conviction of the Holy Spirit on this issue, and she had fully confessed it out before God the Father and told Him that she would never do it again.
She was thus fully ready to take on her demons since God had already well prepared her ahead of time on exactly what the legal rights were that allowed the demons to get on the inside of her body in the first place.
The Battle Prayer
As we explained to you in our other articles, many of these heavier types of battle prayers will have two major parts to them. The first part is where you go before God the Father to fully break all of the legal rights of the demons. The second part is when you will then turn around and go directly after the demons, casting them out of you by the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.
What I did for this battle prayer is take the longer, heavier battle prayer that I had in my article titled, “Deliverance System For Casting Out Demons on the Inside of a Person.”
Many of our other articles have shorter types of battle prayers than this longer, heavier one. But when dealing with these heavier inside types of cases, I would rather use a longer and heavier type of battle prayer rather than use one that may be too short and may not have enough meat in it. When demons have been on the inside of someone for a number of years, they will really get lodged in there and they will not easily leave.
Now here is the battle prayer in its complete entirety. Again, the first part is where she will go before God the Father to fully confess this sin out and properly break the legal rights of these demons. The second part is where she will then turn around and verbally engage with the demons, telling them they will now have to leave her in the name of Jesus since she had fully broken all of their legal rights earlier on in the first part of the prayer.
I actually had her do the first part of the prayer several times on separate days from the second part of the prayer. The second part of the prayer was then done on a subsequent day due to the length of these two prayers.
This woman has given me permission to release her entire testimony, but she has asked that I leave out her name due to the very personal nature of this deliverance. I will also change the name of her boyfriend so as to protect his identity as well.
1. Prayer to Break the Legal Rights of the Demons
Here is the first part of the prayer to confess this sin out before the Lord and then fully break the legal rights of the demons. Also note in the second part of the prayer that I had her break the soul tie that had formed out between her and this man as a result of her fornicating with him.
I also had her say the prayer out loud so the demons could hear her loud and clear. You want them to know that you are now fully breaking all of their legal rights.
“Father,
In the name of Jesus Christ, I now approach Your throne of mercy and grace on a very important matter. Father, I think I may have drawn at least one demon, if not possibly more, as a result of my involvement with Joseph.
1. Looking back at what happened between him and I, I feel that You were trying to warn me to stay away from him, but I did not heed Your warnings. As a result of not heeding Your warnings, I may have broken my hedge of protection that I have with You and then allowed this demon to literally enter in on the inside of me as a result of fornicating with him.
Father, I believe that he may have been involved in either witchcraft or possibly satanism itself. I know now that what I did with him was terribly wrong in Your eyes. I should have heeded Your warnings. I should have never any sex with him, as I know Your Word tells us that any kind of fornication is a direct sin against You.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I now want to confess this sin out direct to You. Father, in the name of Jesus, I now want to confess that I have sinned directly against You by fornicating with Joseph as many times as I did with him.
Father, I know now that what I did was wrong and sinful in Your eyes and I am so sorry that I violated one of Your direct commandments. Father, I now ask that You please forgive me and wash me completely clean by the blood that Your Son Jesus has already shed for me on the cross. Father, please wash away the stain of this sin from my body, my soul, and my spirit, as I know now that I have contaminated my body with this vile sin, since Your Word tells us that our bodies are the temple of Your Holy Spirit.
2. Father, Your Word tells us in Hebrews 4:16 that we can “come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Father, I am in need of a deliverance from this evil spirit that has entered in on the inside of my body. I now ask that You please have mercy on me and grant me a full deliverance from this demon.
Father, Your Word tells us in 1 John 1:9 that “if we confess our sins,” that You will be faithful to forgive our sins and that You will cleanse us from all unrighteousness associated with that sin. Father, I now believe that You have fully forgiven me for this transgression made against You and that You will now fully cleanse me from this vile sin.
Father, I will also make a vow and promise to you that I will never, ever fornicate with this man or any other man ever again, as I believe there is something very evil attached to him.
Father, again, I am so sorry that I have sinned directly against You, but I now want this evil spirit out of me. Father, I now ask that You take up my case and move to fully deliver me from this evil spirit.
Father, as a Your born-again child, I know that I have Your power and Your authority to be able to directly engage with this evil spirit and drive it out of me for good. Father, I will now approach You for my full and complete deliverance from this evil spirit in my next prayer to you. Father, thank you for hearing my cry and my petition on this extreme matter. In Jesus name, amen.”
2. Battle Prayer to Cast Out the Demons
This is the second part of the prayer where she will now turn around and directly engage with the demons in the name of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit. And again, all of this has to be said out loud so the demons can hear you loud and clear.
1. Prayer to God the Father
“Father,
a) In the name of Jesus, I now come before Your throne on a very serious matter. As a result of fornicating with Joseph, I feel that at least one demon, if not possibly more, may have entered in on the inside of my body. Father, these demons may have entered into me way back 10 years ago when I was first sleeping with Joseph and it may have gotten worse when I once more slept with him back in the first part of last year.
Father, these demons have been in me long enough. I really do suspect that these are demons who are on the inside of me and not anything that may be medically wrong with me. Father, if these are demons who are on the inside of me, I want to be set fully free from all of them right now in the name of Jesus Christ. I no longer want these foul and evil spirits to be residing on the inside of my body, which is the Temple of Your precious Holy Spirit. I now want to be set fully free from every single one of these evil spirits.
b) Father, before I directly engage with these demons, I now want to do one more thing with You on all of this. As a result of fornicating with Joseph as many times as I did, I know I developed an ungodly and unhealthy soul tie with this man. This soul tie and my direct fornication with Joseph opened up the doors to these demons and gave them legal permission to enter in on the inside of my body.
Father, I have already confessed out my sin of fornication to You in the first part of this special prayer. But I now want to do one more thing. I now want to break the soul tie that has developed between myself and Joseph. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I now ask, by the power of Your Holy Spirit, that You fully break ever single inch of this soul tie that has developed between me and Joseph. I now ask that You fully break and fully sever every single part of this soul tie so that I am no longer physically and spiritually bound to Joseph in any way, shape, or form.
c) Father, I now want to end this ordeal with these demons once and for all. In the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, I now ask that You personally anoint me for this battle.
Father, in Your Word you have told us that we will have Your power and Your authority to be able to trample over all of the power of the enemy and that nothing shall be able to hurt us. You have told us in Your Word that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. You have told us in Your Word that we shall cast out demons in Your name. You have told us in Your Word that You are a Man of War and that You can be stirred up to go into battle for us.
Father, I now ask that You stir Yourself up as a Man of War and that You personally take on these demons and drive them right out of me and right out of my life for good – never again to return to bother, harass, or torment me – ever again!
d) Father, You have said in Your Word that the Sword of the Holy Spirit is Your Word. Father, in the name of Jesus, I now ask that You let Your Word be my Sword. Father, I repeat, let Your Word be my Sword so that these demons can now be fully driven out of me once and for all.
Father, I now ask that You fully arm me for this battle. I now take up and put on my helmet of salvation, my shield of faith, my breastplate of righteousness, and my Sword of the Holy Spirit so I can now fully operate under Your full anointing against these demons so You can drive and cast all of them out of me once and for all. Father, I now ask that You allow Your full spiritual armor to be put on me right now in the name of Jesus so I can now do battle against these demons who are on the inside of me.
e) Father, these demons have been in me long enough. Father, I now ask that You declare ALL OUT WAR against these demons. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I now ask that You move FULL FORCE against these demons as a mighty Man of War so I can be set fully free from these demons, once and for all.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I now plead the blood of Your Son Jesus Christ over every inch of my body, over every inch of my soul, and over every inch of my spirit so I can now have a full protective covering against these demons. I now ask that You station your battle angels all around me so they can fully protect during this entire deliverance.
Father, I also ask that You allow the blood of Your Son Jesus to fully protect myself, and all of my personal possessions such as my house, my car, my family, my finances, and my health. Father, I now ask that You fully protect me from any type of vengeful act from any of these demons after You have fully cast all of them out of me.
f) Demons, I am now coming against each and everyone of you in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I repeat, I am now coming against each and everyone of you operating under the full power, the full authority, and the full anointing of God the Father.
Demons, the Word of my God tells me in Luke 10:19 that my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has now given me the full authority to be able trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and that nothing shall by any means hurt me. Demons, the serpents and scorpions that Jesus is talking about in this verse is all of you and I thus have my Lord’s direct authority and direct power to be able to cast all of you out of me once and for all.
Demons, Jesus has told us in Luke 9:1 that He has given His disciples “power and authority over all demons,” which includes all of you who are on the inside of me. As a true disciple of Jesus Christ, I now have His direct full authority and His direct full power to be able to cast all of you out of me once and for all.
g) Demons, the Word of God also tells me in Exodus 15:3 and Isaiah 42:13 that my God is a “Man of War” and that He shall “go forth like a mighty Man,” that He shall “stir up His zeal like a Man of War” and “that He shall prevail against His enemies.” Demons, every single one of you is a direct enemy of the Lord and He will now be moving against each and everyone of you. God the Father will now totally prevail against all of you. You are no match for His strength and His power.
I repeat, the Lord of Hosts will now be moving against each and every one of you right now as a mighty Man of War, and you will have absolutely no chance against His wrath, against His fury, and against His power. Demons, you are now all done and you are now all finished. Your show and your time with me is now all over.
h) Demons, I now bind up each and everyone of you right now so you cannot attack or harm me in any way, shape, or form. I repeat, I bind up each and every one of you right now in the name of Jesus Christ so you cannot harm me or anyone else who is in this house while I am doing this deliverance on myself. You are to stand down and completely back off me and you are not to engage with me in any way, shape, or form. You are not to move an inch, say a word, or harm a hair on my head during this entire deliverance.
Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, I am now raising up my shield of faith against each and every one of you. This shield of faith from my Lord and Savior is now forming an invisible and impenetrable shield between you and me. You will not be able to cross this shield in any way, shape, or form. Every single one of you is now fully bound up and completely shut down – all in the name of Jesus Christ.
i) To every single demon who is on the inside of me, in the name of Jesus Christ, you are not to run, hide, or attempt any kind of communication to any other spirits who are on the outside of me. You are not to seek out any kind of help or reinforcement from any outside spirits whatsoever in the name of Jesus Christ.
All of your lifelines and all of your cords to any of these outside spirits has now been completely cut and completely severed – all in the name of Jesus Christ. The Word of God tells us that God the Father will “cut in pieces the cords of the wicked.” (Psalm 129:2). All of your cords have now been completely cut, completely severed, and completely cast off, all by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If there are any demonic spirits who are in this room, but not on the inside of me, I now command you, in the name of Jesus Christ, to leave this room and to leave this house and do not come back to this place ever again. GO NOW, in the name of Jesus Christ. I repeat, GO NOW in the name of Jesus Christ.
j) To all of the demons who are on the inside of me, you are now all bound up together to the head, chief demon and you are now all fully paralyzed. You cannot move an inch, say a word, or harm a hair on my head or anyone else who is in this house. Demons, there will be no manifestations whatsoever from this point on. You will not attempt any type of violence against me. You will not attempt any type of vomiting or distracting type of behavior. You are now all shut down and completely bound up by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, I also forbid you to try and communicate with one another on the inside of me. To each and everyone of you, you are not to talk to or try to get any help whatsoever from any other spirits who are on the inside of me. All of your communication lines are totally and completely cut and severed by the power of the Holy Spirit so none of you can communicate in any way, shape, or form with one another. I forbid the head, chief demon from being able to communicate with any of his underlings, and I forbid any of the underlings from being able to communicate with the head, chief demon.
k) Demons, we now know what all of your legal rights have been with me over the time that you have been in me. I know I opened up the door to all of you by fornicating with Joseph as many times as I did. But I have already gone before my heavenly Father and have fully confessed out my sin of fornication directly to Him.
The blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has now fully washed away this vile sin from my soul and my body. I have also fully broken the soul tie between Joseph and myself, so there is now nothing left for any of you to be able to hang onto. All of your legal rights have now been fully cancelled and fully broken with God the Father. You no longer have any more legal claim over me or my life.
Demons, as a result of all of my transgressions being fully confessed out and fully forgiven before the Lord, you no longer have any more legal rights in which to stay attached to me.
I repeat, in the name of Jesus Christ, you no longer have any more legal rights to stay attached to me, as all of your legal rights have now been fully broken and fully severed as a result of my full confession and my full repentance before God the Father. Each and everyone of you will now have to leave me in the name of Jesus Christ. I repeat, each and everyone of you will now have to leave me in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
2. Dry Up the Waters of the Enemy
“Demons, in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, all of your waters with me have now been completely dried up. I repeat, all of your waters that you have been drinking from in me have now been fully dried up.
I have already confessed all of my sin of fornication to God the Farther and I have also vowed to Him that I will never, ever go back with Joseph ever again. You thus no longer have any more valid legal rights to stay attached to me.
I know the legal rights that you have been operating on with me have been feeding you over the time that you have all been in me. But this is now all over. There is now nothing left for you to feed on, to drink on, or to operate on with me. This show and this game that you have been trying to set up with me is now all over in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
3. Tear Down the Inner Kingdom of the Enemy
“Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, there is now one more thing that I have to do with each and everyone of you. I know that you have been trying to build up some kind of an inner kingdom on the inside of me during the time that you have all been in me. I know Joseph was probably into some kind of dark occult activity. But your day and your time with me is now all over. I repeat, your day and your time with me is now all over in the name of Jesus Christ.
Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit now moving against you, I now fully bind up the gatekeeper demon who has been controlling this gate into my body and soul. In the name of Jesus Christ, I now completely break down and tear down the gates that you have established on the inside of me. This gate is now being completely tore down, cut down, and demolished by the power of the Holy Spirit now moving against it.
Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit now coming against you, I now tear down all of your pillars, all of your walls, all of your bars, and the rest of your inner kingdom that you have built up on the inside of me. Your stronghold base, your fortress, and your inner kingdom that you have built up for yourselves on the inside of me has now been completely tore down, cut down, and demolished by the power of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The Word of God tells us that God the Father has “broken the gates of bronze, and cut the bars of iron in two” (Psalm 107:15-16). God is now moving forward to completely break down and cut down all of your bars and all of your gates that you had put up on the inside of me. You no longer have a place, a fortress, or a kingdom in which to stay in with me. You now have nowhere else to go but OUT – OUT of me once and for all.
This kingdom, this show, and this game that you have been playing with me is now all over. You must now all go and leave me – and you are to never, ever come back on me ever again.”
4. Bind the Lesser Demons to Chief Demon and Cast Them All Out as One Spirit
a) “Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, you are now all at the end of your rope with me. All of your legal rights have been fully broken by God the Father. You now have nothing else left to hold onto. Your waters have been fully dried up and your inner kingdom has now been completely destroyed and obliterated by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Demons, you now have nowhere else to go but OUT of me. I repeat, in the name of Jesus Christ, you now have nowhere else to go but OUT of me.
b) Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I now come against every single demon who is attached to me, whether it be on the inside of me or on the outside of me. I now bind up every single, lesser, underling demon to the head chief demon, who has been running this entire show from the very beginning with me. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, all of these demons are now fully bound up under the head, chief demon – all under Your might and Your power.
Father, if by chance there is more than one group of demons on the inside of me, with each group having their own head chief demon and their own stronghold area they have been working on in me, I now bind up all of these groups together as one spirit. They are all now joined together and bound together by the power of the Holy Spirit.
c) To the head chief demon who has been running this entire show on the inside of me, I now come directly against you in the name of Jesus Christ. I repeat, I now come directly against you in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
All of the lesser underling demons are now fully bound up directly to you. I am now going to command all of you to come out of me and leave me as one spirit and when I do, you will all leave me quietly and without any type of commotion or disturbance. When you leave, and you will be leaving, you will not hurt me or anyone else who is in this house. In the name of Jesus Christ, you will not manifest in any way, shape, or form as you are being cast out of me.
Demons, in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit now coming against you, I now command each and every one of you to come out of me RIGHT NOW – and you are to leave me, and you are to never, ever come back on me ever again!
GO NOW in the name of Jesus Christ and do not ever come back on me or in this household ever again. Your assignment with me from Satan is now fully over. I repeat, your assignment with me is now fully over in the name of Jesus Christ. You now have nothing else left to hold onto with me. This show is now over – end of discussion!
d) Demons, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has already fully destroyed all of your evil works at the cross. Jesus Christ has already fully disarmed all of your principalities and powers, making a complete public spectacle of all of them and totally triumphing over all of them. My Lord and Savior has already delivered all of us from the powers of darkness, which is all of you.
Demons, the Word of God tells us that every single knee shall bow to Jesus Christ and fully confess that He is truly Lord over all. The Word of God tells us that even those who are underneath the earth shall bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. And demons, those who are underneath the earth are all of you.
As such, each and everyone of you has to now fully bow and fully confess that Jesus Christ is truly Lord over all. As a result, you are no match whatsoever for His power, which is now coming directly against you to drive all of you out of me once and for all. Colossians 2:9 tells us that in Jesus Christ dwells all of the fullness of the Godhead bodily, that I am fully complete in Him, and that He is the head of all principality and power.
Jesus Christ is truly King of kings and Lord of lords and you were all totally defeated by Him at the cross. As such, you no longer have any more sway, any more power, or any more legal rights over me. This captive is now being set fully free by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and there is now nothing more any of you can do about it.
e) Demons, the full fury and the full wrath of God the Father is now coming against each and everyone of you. You are to release me RIGHT NOW in the name of Jesus Christ. You are to leave me RIGHT NOW as one spirit and you are not to harm a hair on my head as you are leaving me.
God the Father is now raining down heaping coals of fire on each and everyone of you. He has now had enough of this show, and by the power of His Holy Spirit, He is now moving against each and every one of you, now fully driving all of you out of me – never, ever to return to me again.
f) I now plead the blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ against each and every one of you. I repeat, I now plead the blood of Jesus Christ against each and everyone of you so that you are all COMPLETELY WASHED OUT OF ME AND COMPLETELY CAST OUT OF ME– never, ever to return to me again. By the power of the blood of Jesus Christ, I now break all of your holds and all of your evil grip on me. Demons, LOOSE ME RIGHT NOW, in the name of Jesus Christ.
g) Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I now ask that You loose your battle angels against all of these demons who have been holding me captive all of this time. Father, allow Your holy battle angels to now move forward and strike and smite these demons with full force. Father, I ask that You reign down heaping coals of fire on every single one of these demons. Father, strike these demons right now with Your full fury and Your full wrath.
h) Demons, every single one of you are to come out of me RIGHT NOW in the name of Jesus Christ. And as you are leaving me, you are not to manifest or hurt me in any way, shape, or form. You are to leave me quietly, without any type of commotion or disturbance. GO NOW in the name of Jesus Christ. I repeat, GO NOW in the name of Jesus Christ and do not ever come back on me ever again, and do not attempt to try and send any other evil spirits my way from this moment on.
i) Father, I now ask that You pour out the blood of Your Son Jesus Christ over every inch of my body, over every inch of my soul, and over every inch of my spirit so I am fully protected from this moment on from any demonic spirits who may want to try and come back against me.
Father, I now ask that from this moment on that You give me perfect physical and spiritual protection from these demons and make sure they never, ever come back on me – ever again. Father, let the blood of Your Son Jesus Christ perfectly seal and perfectly protect me from any further attacks from these demons ever again.
j) Father, I now ask that You allow Your Holy Spirit to release from my spirit and allow Him to fill up into my soul so that I can now become truly Spirit-filled, so the Holy Spirit can now fully protect my soul from ever being attacked by these demons ever again. Let me receive the baptism of Your Holy Spirit up into my soul so I can now become that much closer to You in my own personal walk with You.
k) Father, if there is any part of my soul that has been fragmented as a result of these demons being on the inside of me for as long as they have, I now ask that You put these fragments back into my soul in perfect order so my soul can now become fully restored and fully healed.
m) Father, thank You for this victory. Thank You for caring enough about me to get me fully delivered from these demons.
Father – to You, to Your Son Jesus, and to Your Holy Spirit – to all of You be all of the glory, praise, and honor for this incredible victory and this incredible deliverance.
Father, I will never, ever forget what I have witnessed today. I have seen Your love, Your mercy, Your glory, and Your power come against these demons to set me fully free, once and for all. Father, again, thank You so much for caring and setting me fully free today from these demons.”
Specific Things to Note in The Battle Prayer
Since many people would be afraid to try and directly engage with their demons, please note the following that was put into the actual battle prayer itself. If you add these additional steps into the battle prayer itself, you will severely weaken the demons and take away any ability they may have to try and attack you direct once you start up the deliverance.
So people would not be afraid to try and do this on their own, I put these extra steps into the actual battle prayer itself so you will be fully protected from the demons once you start up the actual deliverance.
- Put on the full armor of God
- Ask God to station His battle angels all around you
- Plead the Blood of Jesus on your body, soul, spirit, and on some of your personal possessions for God’s protection
- Put up the Lord’s Shield of Faith between you and the demons so the demons cannot get to you with any type of physical attack
- You will bind up all of the demons so they cannot move to attack you in any way, shape, or form
- You will tell the demons they are to stand down and that they are not to attempt any type of manifestations or attacks directly against you once you start up the actual deliverance
- You will completely cut and sever any lifelines and connecting cords from the demons who are on the inside of you to any demons who might be on the outside of you, as many times the demons who are on the inside will be taking direct orders from higher-ranking spirits who will be on the outside of your body
- You will also be commanding any other demons who might be hovering around the inside of the room, but who will be on the outside of your body, to leave the room and not to come back, so they will not be able to help the demons in any way who are on the inside of you
- The last thing you will need to do is totally shut off all of the communication lines between each of the demons who are on the inside of you so they cannot try to communicate with one another once the deliverance starts up – especially any communication that could occur between the chief demon and all of the underlings who will be under his direct control and authority
What Had Occurred During and After the Deliverance
Here are some of the things that had occurred either before, during, or right after the deliverance had taken place.
1. When this woman first did the battle prayer, she did it 3 or 4 times, but nothing had happened. She then told us that she still had a few children in the house when she was trying to do it and thus could not get a good “crack” at them.
She then wrote us back stating that the next time she would do it, she would make sure that all of her children were out of the house and she would be totally alone when doing it.
2. That day finally came. She said when she started to go into the battle prayer, she felt the power and the authority of the Holy Spirit rise up in her. She said she got about half-way through the prayer, when all of a sudden she felt all of them start to come right out of her.
When the demons started coming out of her, they went flying right out through the bedroom windows. When they went through the bedroom windows, she then heard a loud explosion as they were leaving. I believe God was allowing her to hear this kind of a manifestation as they were leaving so she knew they had really left her for good.
3. After all of the demons were completely expelled out of her, she said she felt like her old self again. She said the demons had hardened her heart over the years, and when they left, she was able to feel her heart once again and that all of the hardness around it was now gone.
She also told us that when she said the battle prayer the last time, that she said it with “all of her heart and with great passion, like it it was a life or death situation.” Those were her exact words to me in an email. There was no doubt that what helped her with this deliverance was her willingness, determination, courage, and resolve to get these demons out of her for good. When she initially contacted us, she was absolutely fed up with having them in her for as long as they had been in there.
Also, many of the times the demons will reside in the stomach area of a person once they move in to set up shop. And that is exactly what they did with her. That was why she had always felt them moving around in her stomach area.
4. Shortly after she was delivered, she said a few of them came back “trying to steal her deliverance from her.” They were trying to tell her they were still on the inside of her, but she knew they were out due to the difference she now felt on the inside of her.
At that point, I told her to verbally engage with them, telling them to now leave her in the name of Jesus Christ. She did this and they finally left her for good and they have not been back since. And all of this took place about a year ago.
Conclusion
As we have said before, when you read of demonic testimonies like this, it is very hard for many believe. But as we have showed you from all of the verses in the Bible on this subject, demons are real and sometimes they do enter into people’s bodies. And when they do, that person will then need a full scale deliverance.
If any of you are battling the same thing as this woman had been for 10 years, do not be afraid to try and either have the appropriate deliverance minister deliver you, or try and do it for yourself as this courageous woman did.
God is no respecter of persons. We all have the same Holy Spirit on the inside of us. And God will move to help anyone out in this area if they will just approach Him in good heartfelt prayer and ask for His direct help.
The above steps will give you a good outline to start with. You can then decide whether or not you want to shorten up the above battle prayer or use it close to how we have it. Again, when dealing with this kind of heavier inside case, we wanted to draw up a heavier and a bit longer type of battle prayer so we could cover all of our bases on this. Sometimes you can use a much shorter version. I would just be led by the Holy Spirit as to how He will want you to do it.
But in this case, this woman did not have to go all the way through the battle prayer. She said she was about half-way through it when all of a sudden she felt them all started to come out of her. My best guess is they knew what was in the rest of the battle prayer since she was reading it out loud from a piece of paper, and the Holy Spirit then moved ahead of time to finally blow all of them out of her once and for all.
We want to personally thank this woman for allowing us to use her testimony for this article, as it will give everyone a very good example of how this kind of battle strategy can actually work in a real, live, deliverance situation.
